Ending Three: Dark Ending

A/N: As this is the final book of this series, Cayden have a special for him, just like Marcus Sawyer did. I feel that Cayden is very special to me, just like all my other oc's. After this, there will be two more specials chapters

Cayden walks down the staircase to the basement after Cedric, Viktor and their children leave the house. He stops in the middle of the staircase, faces the wall to his left, and waves the Elder Wand over the wall.

An oak door appears in front of him and Cayden takes the doorknob into his hand and twists, opening the door to the secret room he had found when they first bought the house. He entered the room and closed the door behind him, making it disappear again from outside eyes.

Cayden walked towards the dresser against the wall, pulling open the top door of the dresser. He looks down at the seven objects in the dresser, smiling at the mere sight of them.

The objects are his invisibility ring, his diary, the Head Boy badge Headmistress McGonagall had told him to keep, a pocket watch Severus had given to him before he had to go on the Horcruxes hunt, before he had died from Nagini's venom, a quill Fawkes had given to him, a silver dagger from the goblins at Gringotss, and a mirror shard from the Mirror of Erised.

Cayden places the Elder Wand on top of the dresser, the Elder Wand Harry had given to him as he had broken his wand before he was taken to the Malfoy's Manor. He still remembers the conversation between them, remembers the conversation Harry has had with Albus Dumbledore when he died.

Cayden and Harry walked silently out of the Great Hall, away from the deaths. While Harry was fiddling with the Elder Wand in his hand, wondering if he should give it to Cayden after what he has been through. Cayden was thinking of how his Horcruxes had felt, loving how the darkness and death had felt. Except for his godfather, he doesn't like to see his godfather die in front of him from Nagini's venom.

Severus has been his anchor for multiple years, Cayden doesn't know how to make of that. But he is still saddened by Severus' death. It doesn't help that Delphine died to save Sirius from death as well.

"Cayden?" Harry's voice pulled him out of his depressing thoughts.

"Yes?" Cayden answered, noticing that they were walking towards the bridge.

"I want you to have this." Harry said, holding out the Elder Wand towards his twin brother, thinking nothing of it as he let Cayden disarm him to take control of the Elder Wand.

Cayden looks down at the Elder Wand, studying it. He looks at Harry, giving him a smile. "Thank you for this, Harry." He said, placing the Elder Wand in his pocket as they started walking again.

"Dumbledore thought you two were slightly familiar." Harry said, gaining Cayden's attention once again. "You and Voldemort." He said when Cayden only looks at him with a confused expression.

"Why's that?" Cayden questioned, his heart skipping a beat and hopes that his face doesn't show it.

Harry shrugged. "I don't know, he doesn't say." He said. "But Dumbledore believed that you were not the same."

Cayden smiles at the irony of the conversation, not the same. The memory of that conversation always made him laugh every time he looked at his Horcruxes.
