Aliyah Staton
We spent every other day fight training from that day on; it was an exhausting task at first but now that my body is used to being in wolf form it gets easier every day. My father had agreed to allow me to move in with Amaro; although he did claim it was only for protection, either way I was just happy that I could sleep in my mates arms every night.
It had been three months since the new vampire had arrived in town; other than a few glances he didn't bother us. We were to the point of thinking that the guy just happened to show up in town and had nothing to do with the ancient vampire problem that we were facing. When we first found out I was a nervous wreck; constantly glancing over my shoulders and jumping at every little noise. Now that we haven't had any new recent vampire activity and the one that went to our school didn't seem to be causing any issues, I felt like life was getting back to normal.
We walked out of school and I gave Georgia a hug after walking her to her car. All day something had seemed off about her but I just couldn't figure out what it was. I had asked her throughout the day about it but she just kept shrugging it off or ignoring my question completely. I knew something was going on with her and decided to try one last time to see if I could get any information out of her.
"Hey is there something that you want to talk about?" I asked placing my hand on her shoulder.
"No, I've just had a long day," she replied flashing me a quick smile.
"Well if you change your mind you know how to reach me," I said offering her a caring smile before pulling her into another hug; I could have tried to push for more information, but I figured when she was ready to talk about what was bothering her she would; I didn't want to push her too much.
"See ya Ali," she said opening her car door as I walked away back to Amaro who was waiting in the truck a few stalls down.
"Later Georgia," I said talking one last look over my shoulder to see her offer me one of her million dollar smiles.
Turning back around I got in the truck and we went back to Amaro's house. After doing some homework we went out to the living room to find Koda and Tadeo starting a movie; we were only about ten minutes into the movie when my phone rang. I ran to the bedroom to get it and looking at the screen, I didn't recognize the number; curious, I slid my finger across the screen and answered the call.
"Hello?" I said into the phone and waited for a reply.
"Hello Aliyah," A male's voice came from the other end.
"Who is this?" I asked not recognizing the voice.
"That's really not important at the moment. What is important is who I'm with; would you like to say hello to your little friend?" He asked before I heard a high pitched female scream.
"Ali, Ali help me, ALI...!" Georgia screamed into the phone line; what the hell, what was he doing to her?
"Georgia? Georgia are you ok? Where are you?" I yelled back gaining the attention of the three men in the living room who were at my side in an instant.
"If you don't want your friend to die then you will meet me at the old whiskey factory at the end of Shaw Road at ten," The male's evil voice came back on the line.
"Who is this?" I screamed before Amaro grabbed the phone from me.
"You will find out soon enough," The voice called back before the call was disconnected.
"Get all the men ready; we will go together as a pack," Amaro called out to Koda.
"Ok let's go," Tadeo said following his brother out the door.
