Amaro Black

I took a few steps back and waited for Ali to lose control over her wolf and phase. I knew what I had said would piss her off and that's exactly what I was aiming for. We had to find a way to control her anger, and the only way to do that was to make her angry to the point where she phased; and figure out how we can stop it from happening.

She stood there her body shaking and starting to turn in on itself; she was seconds away from shifting and I readied my own wolf for the transformation. He was just happy that he was going to get to touch her again; he didn't care if that meant having to tackle her to the ground first. She took a few deep breaths and to my surprise instead of shifting she started talking.

"You have no idea, do you?" She asked, I could see that she was fighting back a grin. What the hell is going on, this isn't what I planned.

"Idea about what?" I asked confused, still waiting for her wolf to take over and attack; why hadn't that happened yet?

"Idea about how much power I have," she said proudly a smile now forming on her lips.

Her body was completely still and relaxed now; her wolf was calm and not trying to fight her. How much power she has? What the hell is she talking about? She must be so obsessed with the new power she has as a wolf that she thinks she can take me; ha, I'll show her.

"Oh great so now being a wolf has went straight to your head and you think that you are just Queen shit, don't you? Well sweetheart I hate to break it to you, but you're still Aliyah Staton a normal girl with a little extra power and a wolf. You have no idea what it feels like to have power babe, but hey, we're not all made out to be Alphas now are we?" I said as I made myself comfortable on the couch again. I should just order her wolf to sit her ass down and know her place; that would really piss her off.

"You should really do your research before you go running your smart ass mouth because right now you just made yourself look like an idiot," she said not sounding upset at all as she took a seat on a chair across from me.

I watched her cross her legs and rest her hands on her lap casually; she looked like she was completely relaxed; not pissed off at all. What the fuck? How was this plan turning around on me? There is no way that she was able to have that much control over her wolf already; what did she know that I didn't?

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I asked, done playing games with her.

"Do you know my mother's name?" She asked with a smile.

"Yeah my dad said it was Luna, but what does that have to do with what we are talking about?" I asked wondering why she would change the subject.

"No I mean her last name," she said smugly.

"No." What the hell is she getting at; I wish she would just spit it out already.

"Miller," she stated looking up at me to judge my reaction.

"Is that supposed to mean something to me?" I asked still not getting what she was trying to say; she looked back at me confused by my response.

"Do you not know much about your tribes history?" She asked.

"I know what I need to know. What are you getting at Ali?" I asked; I was sick of this beating around the bush crap.

"Well maybe you should have a talk with your dad; he might be able to explain it better than me," she said as she turned to look at the fireplace like she didn't want to say more.
