"Over here!" I see Mimzy waving me over from across the small cafe. My face lights up as I notice her and I begin to walk faster.

"I'm so glad you were able to meet up today. I managed to snag us a table with a radio." She exclaims while gesturing to the small radio.

My eyes light up as I take a seat across from her. "That's really lucky Mimz." She shrugs with a mischievous smile.

"That barista over there has a crush on me so he made sure to save me this table." I put a hand up to my mouth to cover my laughter.

She laughs along with you. "Don't laugh." She says between her laughs. "Anyways," she says, calming down a small bit. "Let's talk about something else, anything interesting happen with you?"

I shake my head as I fiddle with the radio stations. I eventually stop on one that is playing some jazz music.

"Not really. This cute guy came into the shop a few days ago though." Her eyes sparkle with curiosity. "I just realized I never got his name." I mutter the last part.

Her eyes widened. She was now thoroughly invested in the conversation. "Oh do tell. I need some details about this cutie." She says with a grin.

I laugh again as I start from the beginning explaining how I met his mother first and then he came in the very next day cause he wanted to meet me.

I laugh again as I start from the beginning explaining how I met his mother first and then he came in the very next day because he wanted to meet me.

Her eyes widened once more. "This is actually the cutest story I have ever heard!" She exclaims cheerfully, she clearly wanted to know every detail of this moment. "What did you two do? Did he flirt? Tell me, tell me!" She begged now.

I laugh a bit more. "I think he was flirting a bit." I admit. "You know I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff Mimz." I whine dramatically.

"Oh yes, very clueless." She teases, laughing. "He definitely was into you. He came back the next day because he wanted to meet you. Sounds like flirting to me." She says, nodding her head in a matter-of-fact way which she always did when she said something she considered fact.

The barista then walks over with two drinks. Mimzy thanks him while twirling her hair and I do my best not to laugh.

She sends me a playful glare after he leaves. "I ordered your drink for you already since I know you so well."

I chuckle at her and look down at the drink. "Oh please, you've only ordered it for me a hundred times before." I tease before taking a sip of the drink.

A familiar cheerful and charming voice was soon being heard from the radio which made me nearly spit out my drink.

Mimzy's eyes widened. "Oh hell, is that him?" She asks curiously, tilting her head slightly.

I swallow the sip I took before responding. "Mhm. When he said he worked for a radio station I didn't expect it to be such a big one."

Mimzy's eyes widened even further and she grabbed the radio and turned it up a small bit.

His cheerful voice rang out more clearly now since the radio was turned up. Talking cheerfully about the latest news.

Mimzy couldn't help the slightly amused smile that tugged at the edges of her face. "He has a charming voice." She says, still listening to his cheerful words.

"Tell me about it." I joke. Her smile widens and she nudged me jokingly, giggling. "You're falling for him already and you've barely met." She teases me while keeping her eyes on the radio, intrigued.

I take another sip of my drink to avoid answering her. Mimzy laughs a small bit. "Oh don't try hiding how you feel from me." She teases, still eyeing the radio. "You're smitten."

"No comment." I replied. She lets out a small mocking gasp with a smile on her face. "That means yes!" She exclaims before laughing slightly.

I can't help but laugh along with her. As his voice rings out once more on the radio she turns up the volume again, now fully invested in what he has to say.

"I don't blame you for thinking he's swoon worthy, he has a lovely voice." She says, smiling.

I have no words to reply to her after I hear what he announces on the radio.

"Now enough with my voice. I know you are all interested to hear the next song I have here to play." He pauses for a moment.

"This next song is one I've been playing a few days in a row for one specific person. She doesn't listen to the radio often so I hope you all don't get sick of this song before she hears it." He jokes as he must himself and the song starts to play.

When he had finished his last sentence. Mimzy's jaw nearly hit the floor. She froze as her eyes widened to the size of saucers.

When she finally recovered from the surprise she had turned to look at me, her mouth still hanging hung open slightly. "He's so into you (Y/N)." She exclaims.

I couldn't help the reddening of my face at her words. "He is not!" I say, denying her statement with a slightly flustered expression on my face.

Mimzy looked at me in shock that I continued to deny what was very clearly obvious. "You heard him." She says, still clearly flabbergasted by his brazen flirtations through the radio in front of so many people.

"He could have said that for anyone." I say avoiding her gaze. There's no way it's a coincidence. That's the song his mother bought for him.

Mimzy crosses her arms and shakes her head. "There's no damn way that song could be a coincidence. It's fate I tell ya!" She exclaims, clearly set on the fact that it was intentional. "And he even said he's been playing it for a while hoping you'd hear it!"

I cover my face with my hands as a smile engulfs my lips. "I don't want to get my hopes up Mimz."

Mimzy looks at me and sighs with a smile before gently removing my hands from my blushing face.

"(Y/N), that handsome gentleman is clearly interested. I could practically hear the hearts in his eyes over the radio!" She exclaims with a small laugh. "So stop denying it!"

"Too bad I don't know his name." I say as I start to laugh with her again. She's always had the ability to make me laugh no matter what.

I then see an idea pop into her head as she lets go of my hands and grabs the radio. Before I can react at all she makes it louder and stands up holding the radio above her head.

"Does anyone know who this charming radio host is?" She exclaims to all the patrons in the cafe and I immediately try to sink lower in my chair.

I try to pull her back down to her seat but she dodges my attempts and walks to the middle of the cafe, continuing to hold the radio above her head and listening intently for any sort of reply.

All the other patrons in the cafe are looking at us like we're crazy, and the barista is giving me the most confused look ever.

I just stare at her wide eyed as my face flushes. After a few more moments of Mimzy waiting, an old man sitting in the corner of another table across the cafe finally speaks up. "That would be Alastor my dear." He states simply before taking a sip of his drink.

She gives him a huge smile and thanks him a million times before rushing back over to our table. I stare at her incredulously before covering my face again. "You're completely insane." I mumble through my hands.

"And you love me for it." She beams. I look up from my hands and give her a playful glare. "I'm also never taking you anywhere else that has a radio again." I say with a joking tone, still a bit red in the face.

She laughed heartily and shook her head. "You love my spontaneous nature, admit it!" She teased, still beaming with glee.

I couldn't deny her statement, but I made sure to maintain my playfully annoyed look.
