Alastor continues to stay with me for the rest of the day and helps out with assisting customers and organizing records.

Time passed by faster than one could expect and it was now dusk. He finished up organizing a pile of records and placed them back out on the floor.

He looked out one of the windows that was in the shop and tilted his head at the sky outside. The sun was setting and the sky was a mixture of pinks, oranges, and purples.

I watch him as he admires the sunset and I can't help but smile. I'm falling hard very fast and I barely know him.

He continued looking out the window, his expression soft as he admired the sunset. After watching the sky for a few more moments, he turned away from the window and looked back over to me.

His expression remains soft as he meets my gaze. "It's rare to see a view such as that one." He states simply, then begins to approach me.

"Are you not out often during this time of the day?" I ask as I clear out the register for the night. He shakes his head slightly at the question as stops in front of me. "Not very often, no." He answers simply, a small contemplative look dancing in his eyes as he speaks.

He then gazes at me, studying my features closely as his expression suddenly turns soft once again and he gives a small smile. "What about you darling?" He asks curiously, tilting his head slightly.

My smile grows at the nickname. "I usually close up shop around this time then walk home so I get to watch the sunset a lot."

He smiles warmly at my response and nods slightly. "I must say that's a rather pleasant way to end the day." He hums softly, tilting his head slightly to the side.

He gazes at me for a few moments more before his smile widens. "May I walk you home?" He suddenly asks, taking me off guard.

My face heats up as I look up from the register at him. "You want to walk me home? Oh I don't want to inconvenience you. You've been here all day and my house is pretty close by." I say flustered.

He chuckles slightly at my flustered reply and shakes his head. "It is no inconvenience to me darling, I want to make sure you're home safely." He replies with a slightly amused tone, tilting his head slightly.

He gazes at me with a warm expression, the sunset that shines into the shop makes his brown eyes look fiery. "Well, aren't you sweet?" I say smiling up at him. "If you really insist then I won't stop you." I close the register and grab my bag from underneath the counter.

"We finished up everything so I'm good to head out if you are." I finally say after stepping out from behind the counter. His smile widens slightly as he watches me grab my bag from the counter. He moved slightly closer to me as I stepped out from behind the counter.

"Right then, let us be on our way then." He says cheerfully then begins exiting the shop and holding the door open for me to come through. As I pass through the door, his arm gently brushes mine for a fleeting moment.

I feel my face heating up but silently thank the sky's colors to not make the blush on my face too noticeable.

He follows me outside and slowly begins to follow me when I start walking. We made our way down the sidewalk silently for a few moments, then he suddenly started speaking.

"Have you always owned this record shop?" He asked curiously, looking straight ahead as he walked beside me.

I nod. "My parents owned it before it got passed down to me." He nods slightly as he listens to my response. He gazes at me as we continue to walk, a small smile dancing on his face.
