East and Lia lingered in the intimacy of their shared bed, the soft glow of morning sunlight filtering through the curtains. Their bodies entwined in a deep, passionate kiss, each moment a testament to the burgeoning connection between them.

"It's the eyes, Lia. They never lie," East whispered, his gaze locked on her hazel eyes, a window to her soul.

Lia blushed at his words, a shy smile playing on her lips as she covered her nude body with the sheets. "I know, Papi. I know," she replied, her heart fluttering at the endearment.

But their tender moment was soon interrupted by the harsh reality of their lives. East had meetings to attend, obligations to fulfill, and the looming presence of the family business always hanging over him like a shadow. Despite the weight of his responsibilities, he found solace in the warmth of Lia's presence, her innocence a beacon of light in the darkness of their world.

"I gotta go to work. What time is dinner, babe?" East asked as he rose from the bed, the urgency of his schedule already pulling him away.

"Be home by 7, please. Your parents and my parents are going to be here, so it may be awkward," Lia replied, her voice tinged with a hint of unease.

As East disappeared into the bathroom to start his shower, Lia couldn't shake the feeling of apprehension that settled over her. The impending family dinner weighed heavily on her mind, the suspicions she and East harbored about their parents' possible affair casting a dark shadow over the evening ahead.

Determined to put her worries aside, Lia busied herself with tidying their bedroom, the fabric of East's shirt clinging to her skin as she made the bed with meticulous care. With each movement, she tried to push aside the nagging doubts that plagued her, focusing instead on the task at hand.

But as she smoothed the sheets and fluffed the pillows, Lia couldn't shake the feeling of foreboding that gnawed at her insides.

Tory sat in his office, the hum of his computer the only sound in the room as he pored over the day's numbers. He was deep in concentration when his assistant's voice broke through the silence.

"Boss, you have a guest," she announced, her tone as professional as ever.

Without looking up, Tory responded, "Who is it?"

Before the assistant could answer, the door swung open and Bianca entered, her presence immediately commanding the room. She closed the door behind her and sauntered towards Tory, her voice dripping with seduction.

"Hello, Tory."

Annoyance flickered across Tory's face. He didn't look up from his screen. "What are you doing here, Bianca? East isn't here yet."

"I'm not here for him," she replied, moving closer. "I need your help."

Tory's frustration grew. Bianca was trouble, and she had no place in the Luke family's inner sanctum. "I'm listening," he said curtly, finally looking up as she perched on the edge of his desk.
