Mariah and her three-year-old daughter, Royalty, were at a high-end boutique shopping for Tory's surprise dinner party. Royalty, full of energy, dashed around the store, making it difficult for Mariah to keep up.

In her playful sprint, Royalty collided with Bianca, who was trying on a pair of designer heels. Bianca's eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint as she recognized the little girl.

"Hey, pretty girl. Where's your mommy?" Bianca asked, scanning the store.

Mariah, spotting her daughter with Bianca, felt a mix of relief and irritation. "Royalty, get over here! I'm sorry about that," she said curtly, avoiding eye contact as she placed Royalty back into her Bentley stroller.

Bianca's smile turned sly. "She looks just like her father. Such a pretty girl. You should keep her on a tight leash, and her father too."

Mariah's jaw tightened. She didn't want to cause a scene but couldn't let Bianca's words go unchecked. "Don't speak on my daughter or husband," she replied icily.

Bianca stepped closer, lowering her voice so only Mariah could hear. "Keep a tight leash on your dog of a husband. I know he still wants me, but he can never have me."

Mariah's eyes blazed with anger. "Today is your lucky day. Besides, Lia already beat you the fuck up. Bitches like you can never get a man of their own," she snapped before turning on her heel and leaving the store.

Despite the unsettling encounter, Mariah had to maintain her composure for Tory's surprise party. The streets of Manhattan were clogged with traffic, adding to Tory's growing annoyance. "Babe, where are we going? It's all this traffic in Manhattan," he grumbled.

"We'll be there shortly," Mariah replied, keeping her response terse. She didn't want to reveal the source of her irritation.

"You've been distant all day. What's going on with you?" Tory asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Mariah quickly reapplied her lip gloss. "Nothing. We're here, babe," she said, opening her own door and rushing to get out of the car.

"Why the fuck are you opening your door?" Tory snapped, grabbing her hand. They walked into the beautifully decorated event space, where a chorus of "SURPRISE!" greeted them from all of Tory's friends and family.

Tory embraced Mariah, though when he went in for a kiss, she shielded her face, offering her cheek instead. He knew something was off but decided to enjoy his surprise party for the moment.

"Everything turned out beautifully. We did a good job," Lia said as she hugged Mariah. The two women ducked off to the open bar.

"I ran into Bianca today, and she basically told me she's been messing with my husband," Mariah said, her voice trembling with a mix of anger and disbelief

"It's like we can't get rid of her," Lia said, rolling her eyes. "But first of all, you need to ask him about it. She could be lying for all we know. That's East's ex."
