Jason's POV

"Wait, so you had help. From him. And never told us."

"Yeah, that pretty much covers it," Lily replies, looking at me. "I wouldn't be here if he wasn't there."

"Your welcome. Now it has been months. Do you think you're ready to tell me what he meant?" I ask her. The fact that the titan called her a 'child of the moon' has been on my mind for a while now, since our argument in fact, but I never tried to figure out if she is Diana's daughter or not. Maybe I'll get some answers now.

"Okay. You've waited long enough, I guess," she laughs softly. "My mother is Artemis, the goddess of the moon and the hunt. And before you say anything, I know, she's a maiden goddess."

"I knew something was up, with how much you argued with me about saying what he meant. Now I get why you didn't know if you could trust me."

"You mean to tell me that you saved her, you saved him, and neither of you told each other about your godly parent. What else have you not told me, Lily?"

"Well, on the ship before the fight on Olympus, I tried to get to Beckendorf, but Percy pulled me back and jumped off the boat with me. So, we can kind of blame Percy for his death. Apart from that I don't think I've missed anything," Lily says, casually.

"He what!" she shouts. I quickly tell her to shut up, before the harpies could hear us. "Annabeth shut up. We're not exactly supposed to be in here right now, and I just got here yesterday so I don't want to get kicked out yet."

"Jason. If you're caught here when you're not supposed to be out of your cabin, you won't be kicked out. The harpies will eat you or threaten to at least. It happened to me once a few years ago. It was the day Nico left camp after his sister died, and me and Percy were caught talking about who we thought his parent is. They didn't eat me because of my mother. So, you'll be fine. I think."

I think about what she just told me. "Wait they what?"
She bursts out laughing. "You'll be fine. Now about that quest you were given last night..."

Right, the quest to go and save Hera from something or someone.

Child of lightning, beware the earth,
The giants' revenge the seven shall birth,
Fail without the help of the moon,
The forge and dove shall break the cage,
And death unleash with Hera's rage.

And I have to take two people with me. At first I thought of Leo and Piper, I mean we nearly died yesterday, but now I want to take Lily with me. "Hey, Annabeth can I take three people with me?"

They both look at me in shock and confusion. "Jason, there is a reason quests are always done by three people. In the war with the titans, two of the quests that happened had 5 people going on them, and for one of them, only 3 came back. Another of the quests, me, Lily, Grover, Percy, and Percy's brother Tyson went on together, and only me and Lily came back to camp half-blood."

"Annabeth, Percy was trapped on an island in the middle of nowhere for two weeks with Calypso. He came back during his own funeral, which was funny to be honest. And we went back into the Labyrinth, found Rachel, fought Kronos because he took over Luke's body, figured out that Nico is a child of Hades, found Tyson and Grover, then we found Pan and he died, giving us all part of his soul. So, we all came back after that one. But yeah. You're right, there's a reason quests are only ever taken by three. Something always happens, which causes some of them to not get back with the others." Lily looks at me questioningly. "Why do you ask? Who do you want to take with you?"

"I'll explain later, after breakfast," I reply. "I'm going to go back to bed. I think you two should too. See you later."

"See you later Jason," they both reply, and me and Annabeth leave the cabin to let Lily sleep.
