chapter 13: forest training camp arc

While engaging Tiger, Magne was able to dodge his multitude of attacks and block one of his punches with ease.

Magne: "Oh dear, you're so close!" she said while dodging tiger's jabs. "Let me pick up my item!"

Mandalay and Tiger continue fighting Spinner and Magne respectively. Magne manages to continue holding his own against Tiger

Tiger: "Damn it, predicting my Cat Combat moves, huh?"

meanwhile Spinner managed to give Mandalay trouble.

Spinner: "You're not..." he slashed left. "...a real..." he slashed right. "...hero at all!" he said as he raised his sword at slashed it down to which Mandalay barely dodged by jumping back.

Mandalay: "Jeez, you're too persistent!"

Spinner: "So are you!! Hurry up and be purged already!" he said as he was in a close distance and his blade inches away from her face.

Izumi: "SMASH!!"

Just as Spinner was about to attack Mandalay with his bladed weapon, Izumi appeared and lunged with her legs empowered by one for all Full Cowl which destroyed the bladed weapon, much to Spinner's shock.

Spinner: "Huh?!"

Izumi: "Mandalay! Kota's okay! Mr Aizawa said to tell everyone that they can use their quirks to fight... One of their targets is Kacchan". She said as she began to runaway towards the forest leaving them to fight.

Meanwhile

Aizawa was running through the forest with Kota in his arms while being injured. He was having some flashbacks from Dabi's talk.

Dabi: "Hey, hero! Are your students important? I hope you can protect them all till the end."

Flashback ends

Aizawa POV: "The way he said that makes it clear the students are the targets. In that case, it's unavoidable. It's about raising the survival rate! Use your self-defence skills! I'll take responsibility for this, along with whatever punishment is coming later. Don't be defeated while we still don't know what's going on, future heroes!"

Flashback

Izumi: "My brother is also here!"

Flashback ends

Aizawa POV: "Why the hell is he here. Don't tell me he's already planning to strike!"

Kota: "Will mister be alright?"

Aizawa: "Hm?"

Kota: "He saved me from that villain. That villain fought him too. Will he be, okay?" he asked in a sad tone.

Aizawa: "Who is this Mister you're talking about, Kota?"

Kota: "He's that girl's brother..." he said sounding unsure.

Aizawa POV: "Is he talking about the hero hunter? So, he saved the Kid from a villain huh?" He thought to himself as he smiled. "Maybe he's not a complete scum villain."

Aizawa: "Kid, this Mister guy will be fine." he said with a reassured look. Kota nodded as they ran through the forest.

Meanwhile

After some time, when spinner and Magne were distracted, Tiger and Mandalay managed to knock them out.

Mandalay: "I finally got a good hit in!"

Mandalay POV: "It can't be helped... First, I have to tell everyone."

Mandalay Telepath: "We have discovered one of the villains' targets. It is one of the students 'Kacchan'!"
