chapter 23: shie hassaikai arc

2 days had passed since Eri was placed with Izuku and to say the least, Eri looked up to him as her big brother. Although Izuku may have a harsh tone but Eri knows he cares for her. During these two days, overhaul would take blood out of Eri and torture Izuku but to his Suprise Izuku was enduring it like it was nothing. However, the torture would get more worse as overhaul would find new ways to break Izuku down.

After the encounter between Togata and Izumi with Eri and overhaul, they told nighteye about it to which he told them to head back to the office and that they're not strong enough to deal with Overhaul. (Pretty much like how it goes in canon)

The nighteye agency

Nighteye stood at the head of the conference table, his usual stoic expression more intense than ever. Around the table sat a collection of pro heroes and sidekicks, all attentive and ready for the briefing.

Nighteye: "Thanks to the information provided by all of you, our investigation has progressed substantially. We've invited you all here for a joint conference to share the intel we've acquired. Regarding the yakuza group Shie Hassaikai and what we believe
they might be planning.

Bubble girl: "All right, let's begin at the beginning. For the past couple of weeks now, those of us at Nighteye Agency have been conducting an investigation into Shie Hassaikai, a small but organized group of criminals."

kesagiri man: "What prompted this?"

Bubble girl: "An accident involving a gang of thieves called the Reservoir Dogs. The police thought the whole thing was an accident, but there were a number of details that didn't add up, so we began tailing them."

Centipeder: "In my capacity as a Nighteye Agency sidekick, I began following leads to see what I could uncover. I found that, in the past year, the members of Shie Hassaikai have had increased contact with those outside of their organization, including other groups whose business dealings are less than reputable. This wasn't the only case. They also made contact with the monster association to our Suprise. Their aim seemed to be expanding their organization and enriching its coffers. Shortly after our investigation began, they made contact with a member of the League of Villains. Jin Bubaigawara, villain name: Twice. They were wary of being tailed, so I was unable to follow them. but with the help of the police, I confirmed that an altercation had occurred between the two groups."

Nighteye: "This interaction suggests a potential alliance or at least a negotiation between the League of Villains and Shie Hassaikai. Given the involvement of the Monster Association, the stakes are higher than we initially anticipated. But worry not because they're not the only ones with allies. Go on bubble girl."

Bubble girl: "So, after all that went down, we posted a notice on the HN requesting assistance."

Uraraka: "What's the "HN"?" She asked confused.

Hado: "Stands for Hero Network. It's an online service that can only be accessed by pros. You can see what all the heroes in the country are up to, and you can ask for help
from people whose Quirks might come in handy."

Rock Lock: "Why is there a bunch of teenagers in this meeting? I don't care if
they are from UA. If we have to keep stopping to explain this stuff, we'll never get
to the actual plan." He complained.

Fat gum: "Hey don't say that. They're are as much involved in this case as we are."

Nighteye clears his throat gaining the attentions of everyone.

Nighteye: "As bubble girl was saying, once we requested the HN, the Hero association responded to us and were kind enough to lend us a power. You can come in now."
