Chapter 37: Monster Association Arc

Izuku: "The hell are you talking about?" he asked, keeping his voice steady despite the pressure around him. "Nephew? I don't even know you!"

Gyoro Gyoro: "I'm Psykos, your mother and your aunt's sister. Inko and those two didn't tell you about me, did they?"

Izuku narrowed his eyes, feeling a surge of defiance. "Psykos? I've never heard of you. My family—"

Gyoro Gyoro interrupted, "—doesn't talk about me because I was deemed too dangerous. I left when you were just a baby. Inko, tatsumaki, fubki and I... we share blood, but I was always the black sheep."

Flashback 15 years ago

Inko: "You're crazy. Why are you turning those innocent people into monsters?!" She said as she slapped her across the face.

Psykos: "They were weak," she said coldly, touching her cheek. "I'm giving them power — something you'll never understand."

Tatsumaki: "Power? This is just you playing god," she said, glaring. "And you think we're just going to stand by and watch?"

Fubuki: "You're risking everyone," she said, her voice sharp. "Do you even care about us? Or is this just about proving some twisted point?"

Psykos: "Oh, please," she scoffed, crossing her arms. "You three cling to your 'hero' roles, pretending it's all about helping people. But I see the truth."

Inko: "We're actually saving lives, Psykos!" she shouted. "Not making ourselves into monsters to feel powerful."

Psykos: "You call this saving lives?" she said with a bitter laugh. "All you're doing is lying to yourselves. I'm the only one here strong enough to change the world."

Tatsumaki: "Strong? You're out of control!" she yelled, stepping closer. "All you're doing is putting everyone in danger with your selfish experiments."

Fubuki: "We're family. This isn't just about you!" she said, clenching her fists. "If you keep this up, you'll lose us. Do you even care?"

Psykos: "Family?" she said, sneering. "You turned your backs on me the second I stopped being your perfect little sister. Don't talk to me about family."

Inko: "Then leave," she said, her voice shaking with anger. "If we're nothing to you, just go. We'll protect people from whatever you've become."

Psykos: "Fine," she said, giving them a defiant smile. "I'll make you all pay."

Flashback ends

Gyoro Gyoro: "Anyways... back to our little chat. As you are now, you're still something like a 'half monster'. despite the fact that you have not yet become a full-fledged monster, you were still able to withstand rover's heat blast. Your overall body strength will surely continue to improve at a frightening pace... but, as things stand now, it's not quite enough. However, I can raise you into the strongest monster of them all."

Izuku: "You? raise me? what, you're gonna teach me how to use telekinesis or something?" He scowled.

Gyoro Gyoro: "No. I will not be teaching you any psychic abilities nor martial arts but rather... the secret of monsterfication. I'll accelerate your growth as a monster. After you died, I gave overhaul monster serums before he resurrected you. While he was torturing you, he would inject you with those serums. Those serums... they're designed to break down human limitations. They push the body to its absolute limits, reshaping it, strengthening it. The more you're exposed to them, the less human you become, and the stronger, faster, and more resilient you grow. Pain, weakness, doubt—all those human traits will fade, replaced by pure strength."
