chapter 20: Aftermath

The entire scene seemed to freeze for a moment. The horrific sight of Izuku falling to the ground, covered in blood, shocked everyone to their core. All Might's anguished scream echoed throughout Kamino Ward, reaching the ears of the citizens watching on their screens. Izumi fell to her knees, her surroundings moving in slow motion. Tears began to form in her eyes as she stared at the ground.

Izumi: "I-IZUKU!!!"

Bakugo watched in complete horror and agony, his mouth open and tears forming in his eyes.

Bakugo: "D-Deku..." he whispered.

Iida: "Yagi!" he said, worried, as he placed a hand on her shoulder.

Citizen 1: "Oh my god, he just... he just killed the hero hunter!"

Citizen 2: "He's All Might's son... right?!"

Citizen 3: "He's... dead..."

The crowds watching the live broadcast were in utter disbelief. Fear and confusion rippled through them as they tried to process the horrifying events unfolding before their eyes.

Inko: "IZUKUUUUU!!!" she yelled at the TV, falling to her knees and crying uncontrollably. Tatsumaki and Fubuki, both crying, got closer to Inko and gave her a comforting hug.

Tatsumaki: "I'LL KILL THAT BASTARD!!" she yelled in complete rage.

Bang dropped his tea on the dojo floor as he watched the live broadcast in shock. His heart rate began to increase rapidly, and before he knew it, he collapsed, breathing with extreme difficulty. Bomb came out of his room and saw his younger brother having a heart attack.

Bomb: "BANG!!" he said, running towards him and lifting him up.

Bang's eyes filled with tears, his vision blurring.

Bang: "I—Izu—ku..." he struggled to say.

Bomb saw the TV and was overcome with sorrow by the news.

Bomb: "Bang... It will be okay..." he said, hugging him with tears in his eyes.

All Might delivered an incredibly powerful punch, smashing All for One's face into the ground.

All Might: "UNITED STATES OF SMASH!" With every ounce of remaining strength, All Might unleashed his ultimate attack.

The impact of the smash was so strong that, upon striking All for One, the wind pressure created from its delivery left a massive crater in the ground and spawned a twister strong enough to carry nearby buildings.

As the smoke and clouds cleared, All for One was utterly defeated, his body lying limp and motionless while All Might stood over him, emotionless.

After a few minutes of silence, All Might raised his fist and turned to his muscular form. He stood victorious as the world watched the Symbol of Peace carry out his last heroic deed.

News Reporter: "The villain has stopped moving. Victory is for All Might!!"

The crowds throughout Japan began to cheer for him... though not many, considering that his son is the hero hunter. All Might began walking towards Izuku's corpse and saw him, lying face down in a pool of blood. All Might gently flipped him over and shivered at the sight of his son's horrific wounds.

Izuku's organs (his intestines mainly) were out. His lungs were visible and his entire front was covered in blood. His eyes were half-open, but grey and lifeless.
