Chapter 38: Monster Association Arc

After the meeting with the Heroes, King had decided to 'take a bathroom break' just before everyone else was about to leave for the raid. While king was trying to hide, Bang appeared right behind him, scaring King.

King: "Bang?! What are you doing here?!" He shouted, surprised and anxious.

Bang: "Just taking care of some business. I could ask you the same though." He replied with his usual demeanour.

King: "There was an emergency summons for all the S-Class heroes, so they ended up dragging me here too..."

Bang: "Hm? I didn't hear a thing about that." He said before king had a nervous look on his face.

King: "Now that I think about it, child emperor did say we weren't supposed to leak this information to you, bang..."

Bang: "Oh, come now. We've eaten from the same hot pot, haven't we? That makes us good friends! So let me in on the action." He said with a playful smile.

King sighed in defeat as he told him and Bomb about everything.

Bang: "They're breaking into the monster association headquarters? So that's how it is... To think they'd leave us out... I suppose they've lost their trust in me and Genos..." He said while bomb was reading the news paper with his glasses on.

Bomb: "A child hostage... bah, savages."

Bang: "I've been so busy chasing Izuku that I missed my morning newspapers..."

King: "Now the Tactical sqaud is about to move into Z-City ruins, with every member of the hero association and the top 40 pro heroes throughout japan, closing in through a different route... and yeah, that means one location is supposed to be my responsibility. So there is something I want to ask you. It goes against the hero association orders, but... Bang, Bomb... Let's grab Genos and the others... and go through my route, all of us. Keeping it on the down low of course."

Bang sat on the couch in silence before responding.

Bang: "Izuku must be there, eh... He's still my responsibility. Take me there then." He said with a determination in his eyes. Bomb looked at him with concern.

King: "Got it. Let's meet up at his place, like before."

Bang: "Great. I'll take my leave and head there, then."

King: "See you later." He said before leaving the room as he joined the other heroes who were ready to leave.
