chapter 26: aftermath

The outcome of the operation was a failure. The heroes had failed to save Eri and secure the bullets, lots of heroes and police force were injured and on top of that, there was now a new villain on the list by the name Garou. Surprisingly overhaul was killed by Garou, according to one of the work study students. He brutally tore overhaul so bad that a normal person would puke on first sight.

The heroes that helped the operation, went back to their agency's and were told to not let the public know about this incident. It was clear that this new villain was threat and could raise fear among the public just like the hero hunter. (Too bad, they don't know it is the hero hunter)

Currently, Izuku with Eri still asleep in his arms, was walking through the forest that the driver dropped them. He was bleeding from everywhere.

Izuku POV: "When will I get there?!" He though with a frustrated look as he was walking nonstop.

It had been almost an Hour after the driver had dropped them. The forest was a few miles away from mustafa and a quiet area. People would only
go there for hunting or camping.

Eri's eyes slowly opened as she looked around, confused.

Eri: "B-Big brother... where are we?" She asked, her voice shaking.

Izuku: "We're going... agh... somewhere safe kid, can you *cough* *cough* walk?" He managed to say, sounding hurt and coughing blood.

Eri nodded as Izuku gently put her down. She managed to walk normally and they continued to move towards Izuku's old hut.

After a few minutes they got there. There were no trees around the hut, an open area with an abandoned small building in the middle. Izuku slid the metal door to the left and opened it. They both entered and few second in, Izuku fell unconscious.

Eri: "Big brother?!" She asked in a worried tone as she looked at his sleeping face.

Timeskip to nighttime at UA dormitory

Izumi, uraraka, Tsu and kirishima got discharged from the hospital and their study works have ended.

Uraraka: "it feels like It's been a long time since we've been here."

Tsu: "Yeah..."

Kirishima: "Well... what are we waiting for? lets go!" he said with excitement.

The 4 students got in front of the doors and opened it. once they entered, they saw all the other students preparing dinner and helping each other.

Mineta: "There you guys are! It's about time you showed up!"

yoayourozu: "We've been worried about you."

Kaminari: "Yeah we saw the news"

Mina: "It looked terrifying!"

Sero: "are you guys okay?!"

Satou: "I made this for you guys. It's a double chocolate cake." He said as he held a large cake in his hands.

Kaminari: "First Kamino and now the yakuzas?! how do you guys get into these situations?!"

as the students were showing how much they were worried and other bullshits, Iida took charge of the atmosphere and calmed everyone down.

Iida: "Okay that is enough everyone. I know you guys were worried after you saw the news but give them some space. they've been through a lot."

Izumi POV: "thanks Iida."

After everyone calmed down they went back to what they were doing with the others helping them. Izumi sat on a couch thinking about this new villain, Mirio was talking about.
