chapter 29: Hunter gets hunted arc

Beams of energy blasts can be seen, firing out of the forest into the sky. We now see Genos and Izuku's fists collide midair, propelling Izuku back. Endeavour was watching the fight from the side. Genos then follows up his attacks with...

Genos: "Machine gun blow!"

Genos shouted as he sent out a barrage of punches to the hero hunter. Izuku managed to dodge most of the assaults but some of them hit his ribs.

Izuku: "Fist of flowing water, crushing rock!"

Izuku chanted as he retaliated Genos's assaults with his martial arts, redirecting some of the punches.

Genos ducks and strikes him with a punch that is propelled by a booster integrated in his elbow. Izuku intercepts the attack, then counters with a left knee to Genos' head. The attack sends Genos into the ground, and Izuku prepares to land the final blow. However, Genos fires an incineration blast, which Izuku just barely manages to evade.

Izuku: "Bastard. He let me bury him to lure me in."

Back with genos. He was still in the ground and then...

Genos: say less.

Genos POV: "I see. He defended himself, using fist of flowing water crushing rock. It adds up. No wonder why the other heroes struggled."

He thought to himself as Izuku ripped off some of his bandages.

Genos: "Endeavour, You're up!" He shouted as Endeavour charged towards Izuku.

Endeavour: "Jet burn!"

He yelled as he launched himself at Izuku, sending a wave of intense flames toward Izuku. Izuku rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the searing heat, and launched himself at Endeavour with a rapid barrage of strikes.

Endeavour: "Tsk..."

Endeavour countered with a powerful left hook, but Izuku deftly dodged and responded with a high kick aimed at Endeavour's head. Endeavour staggered but quickly recovered, using his flames to deflect Izuku's next series of punches.

Izuku smirked, leaping high into the air and coming down with a spinning kick. Endeavour met him midair with a scorching uppercut. The force of the collision created a shockwave, propelling both the flaming hero and the hero hunter apart.

Endeavour POV: "He's strong. No doubt... but something doesn't feel right. Is he even a human now?" He thought to himself as sweat drops off his forhead.

Izuku: "What's wrong? surprised I'm here?" He taunted.

Endeavour: "What happened to you, Izuku? You're not the same nephew I remembered back then." He asked in a worried tone but remained with a serious face.
