We hurried out of the hospital, Derek carrying Cora's limp body while Stiles and I followed close behind. The rain poured down relentlessly, drenching us as we made our way to the ambulance van parked outside. My legs felt heavy, and with every step, a wave of dizziness threatened to overtake me. I had used so much energy back there, and now my body was protesting every movement.

"It's still here!" Stiles yelled, rushing ahead of everyone, and opening the doors of the vechile for Derek.

Derek carefully placed Cora inside the ambulance. Stiles and I climbed in after her, sitting down on the cold metal bench. I leaned my head back, trying to steady my breathing. The exhaustion was overwhelming, and I could feel the dizziness creeping in again.

Jennifer glanced back at us before turning to Derek. "Derek, over here."

Derek hesitated, his eyes lingering on Cora's pale face, but then he nodded and followed Jennifer, leaving Stiles and I alone in the ambulance.

Stiles looked around, frowning. "Where's the driver?" he asked, his voice filled with unease.

I shrugged, trying to stay alert. "I don't know. Maybe he went out to look for patient's, since no one showed up."

Just then, a voice from outside caught our attention. Derek and Jennifer were standing by the driver's side of the ambulance, staring down at the lifeless body of the driver. Standing over the body was Kali, twisting the ambulance keys on her finger and smirking, obviously bare foot. "It is you."

I didn't know what she meant by that, but I knew she was going to try to kill not just 'Julia', but Derek as well. "No," I whispered, my heart pounding, as I struggled out my seat, despite my head beginning to pound again. Stiles grabbed my arm, pulling me back.

"Madison, don't," he said urgently. "You're too weak right now."

"But they need help!" I protested, lowering my voice, trying to shake off his grip.

"We can't help them if we're dead," Stiles replied, his eyes wide with fear. I sighed, crashing back in my seat as he pulled the ambulance doors closed just as Kali started chasing Derek and Jennifer back toward the hospital.

I hit my head on the back of the van, looking up to the ceiling. I hated being useless, and just sitting around not knowing what was happening out there. Stiles fumbled with the door handles, making sure they were secure. "Okay, okay, okay. We're okay. We're alright. You guys okay? How you doing?" Stiles nervously rambled to himself.

"I'm definitely not ok." I sighed, before looking down at Cora and furrowing my brows. Her chest wasn't moving at all, and she looked way more pale then before. "I don't think she's okay either."

Stiles looked from me to her. "Why does it look like she's not breathing?"

I gulped. "Because I don't think she's breathing."
