"Absolutely not." I snapped, hearing Scott's front door slam behind me. I turned to face him, my eyes blazing with anger. "There is no way you are biting my brother and turning him into a werewolf."

Scott's eyes flashed with frustration. "What if this is the only way to save him, Madison?"

I shook my head vehemently. "No! There has to be some other way. Some other way to change the body."

"We don't have any other options right now, and time is running out!" Scott argued, his voice rising.

"We don't know what the bite could do," I countered, my fists clenching. "For all we know, it could kill Stiles in the process if he rejects it. And besides, Stiles doesn't want to be a werewolf. He told me that."

Scott took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "What if being a werewolf is the only thing that's going to keep him alive? The Oni are on our asses, Madi. We need to do something."

"We can figure something else out!" I shouted, my frustration boiling over. "You are not giving Stiles the bite, and that's that."

Scott looked at me, desperation in his eyes, but I stood firm, my anger and determination unwavering. There had to be another way. There just had to be.

Derek was thankfully being released from prison today, so I headed over there to see him. Not only that, but my dad was returning from his trip to LA. I guess it was nice to be able to see two of the people I loved most again, after a short period of time of not being able to. But with Stiles missing again, since he'd broken out of Eichen House and the Nogitsune had taken control of him, making my nightmares come back, it was definitely needed to have them by my side.

Deputy Parrish was returning Argent his belongings, which consisted of multiple weapons, that they had confiscated from his apartment.

"Sorry, but I can't let you walk out with this. It's way above legal voltage limit." Parrish told him. holding up one of the stun sticks that were intended for werewolves.

I snuck inside the office, and moved besides Derek. I hadn't seen him since the bomb went off in my dad's office a couple days ago, and I'd be lying if I said I hadn't missed him. So much had happened since I'd last seen him, and I just wish he could have been there with me for it.

Derek sensed my presence and turned his head, smiling at me. "Hey, stranger. You know, you really need to find a new hobby other than getting arrested."

He smirked, a glint of humour in his eyes. "And you need to find a new hobby other than rescuing me."

I crossed my arms, raising an eyebrow. "If you keep getting yourself into trouble, what choice do I have?"
