"Ah, if I could just find my keys." I hear dad complaining, looking in his coat pocket as Stiles, Scott and I step into the doorway of his office.

"In your coffee cup." Stiles tells him, and Dad's eyes immediately shoot up. "You always drop them in your empty coffee cup."

Dad unsurely furrows his brows, looking over at me for verification. I nod at him, my eyes widening with a small smile, and I watch as he doesn't waste anymore time, rushing over to Stiles and pulling him into a tight hug. The sight makes my smile widen, as Stiles chuckles to himself. "Hey, Dad."

"Is it over?" Dad asks, looking between the three of us, as they separate.

I shake my head, with a sigh. "No. Not yet."

Dad takes a deep breath, knowing he's about to hear something he's not gonna like. "Ok, what happened?"

"I went into Stiles' head, and separated their minds - the Nogitsune and our Stiles. Turns out doing that separated them into two bodies." I explain, pointing at our Stiles, as Dad moves behind his desk, and we follow him deeper into the room. "So the Nogitsune, who looks like Stiles...he took Lydia."

"We don't know where, or why. But when we weren't looking she was just gone." Scott adds.

My dad sighs, nodding. "Alright, I'm gonna try and pretend I understood half of that. I don't know how much help I can be against the Nogitsune, but I can help with finding Lydia."

He then left his office for a few minutes, leaving the three of us leaning on his desk anxiously waiting. I never thought I'd find myself stood worrying so much about Lydia Martin's well being. I definitely never thought I'd be willing to risk my own life to save hers. It's funny how time changes.

Finally, my dad returned to the office, pulling open the door with news. "We got an APB out on Lydia's car. Every unit on the road is looking for her."

"Isn't there anything else that we could do?" Scott questions.

Unfortunately, dad shakes his head. "At this hour? No, not really."

"I think what we need to think about is why he took her." I look around the room at the three. "I mean, why her?"

Stiles nods in agreement. "If we figure out the why, we figure out the where."

"Okay." Dad begins to look around the station, making sure Parrish, the only other officer here, isn't nearby to overhear. "What would a Nogitsune need with a Banshee?"

Stiles shrugs. "I don't know. Lydia's pretty good at finding dead bodies. Maybe he needs to find a body?"

"Lydia predicts death as well. Maybe...he wants her around to predict when someone's gonna die." I offer up the idea.

Our idea's were clearly not very helpful as the room fell silent. We could even potentially be right, but we just had zero information to know what path to go down.
