"Hey

"Hey." I smiled slightly, stepping into my brother's room, as he glanced up at me, as he packed a book in his backpack.

It had been two weeks since Derek had left for good, and since Jennifer had died, and we'd saved our parents. Ever since then things hadn't exactly been looking up - though I'd guessed that. Last night, Stiles had woken up both my dad and I as he screamed the house down from a night terror. Now Stiles used to have a lot of nightmares, like me, after our mom died but nothing like that. Watching him screaming, feeling only his pain and worry and fear, terrified me beyond description.

"You ok?" I asked him.

He nodded slowly. "Yeah, I'm alright."

I nod. "You better be because you still gotta drive me to school." I joke to try and ease his nerves.

It works as I hear a chuckle from him, as he playfully rolls his eyes. "Yeah, whatever." Stiles grabs his backpack, and the two of us walk down the hall.

"Y'know I saw dad with a box this morning saying 'SHERIFF'S OFFICE DO NOT REMOVE'." I tell Stiles, remembering seeing him walk past my room with said box.

"Then why'd he remove it?" Stiles knits his brows together, as we walk down the stairs.

I shrug. "He said he's the Sheriff. Plus, I'm extremely surprised you even asked that, Mr Robin Hood."

Stiles had not been shy to steal literally anything at all. I even remembered in sophomore year, how he'd stolen Coach's phone for a dumb plan I had to work on Scott's anger when he first turned.

Stiles sighed. "Whatever. Wonder what he's looking at."

"Probably something incredibly boring, the box was massive." I point out, just the thought of going through all those folders making me exhausted.

The two of us get into his Jeep and begin to drive to school. "So what did you see? In your nightmare?" I asked him,

He sighed to himself, the memory of the nightmare clearly creeping back at him. "I don't know, it was all jumbled up in pieces. It was weird, it was like dreams within dreams. But I saw the Nemeton in every single one."

I swallowed harshly at the mention of the old tree. I'd been seeing it in my dreams too, but not nightmares to Stiles' degree. Just normal dreams, but in everyone the Nemeton had just been...there.

"I've been seeing it too." I admit to him in a mumble.

He quickly turns to glance at me. "You've been having nightmares?"

I shake my head. "No- no, I've...just been seeing it."

Stiles pauses, lowering his tone. "It's starting to get bad, though. I mean, I have to literally scream myself awake. And sometimes I'm not even sure if I'm ever actually waking up."
