We walk into the party, Derek heading straight to the DJ to get the party to end so we can figure this whole thing out as I walk behind him, feeling very grateful I declined my invitation. As we near the DJ, a security guard stops Derek by pushing his chest back.

"Bro, sorry. The Bloody Beetroot doesn't take requests." He tells him, and I begin to fear for his safety. Derek nods at him before, moving forwards once more, yet by no surprise the security guard stops him again.

"Bro, seriously. I said the DJ doesn't take-" Derek then grabs him by his neck and my brows raise as he lifts him up.

"He'll take mine." He responds, throwing him to the side.

"I thought I told you not to be mad." I remind him.

"I'm not mad at all." He assures me, before proceeding to grab the DJ's table and throw it onto the ground, forcing the music to stop and everyone to look in our direction. I knew he was a little mad. "Get out!" He bellows and all of a sudden, the crowd begins to the disperse out the doors in a swift hurry, and I then see them. The people Derek were talking about surround the room, as Scott rushes in with Kira, Aiden carrying Lydia away, and Allison with Isaac around her shoulder.

As the crowd fully leaves, they all turn to face Aiden.

"Guys they're all looking at me." He announces and they then take a step forwards. He's their next target.

"Why are they all looking at me?" They then move forwards, and I look to Scott, waiting for his move. And as soon as he moves, I do too, Derek close behind me.

The fight erupted with a flurry of motion. Scott lunged at one of the figures, throwing a powerful punch that barely seemed to faze it. I engaged another, aiming precise strikes that should have incapacitated any normal opponent, but these were far from normal. Their resilience was unsettling.

Isaac fought alongside us, his movements swift and controlled, but even his strength seemed ineffective. Derek, not one to hold back, snapped the neck of one of the figures, only to see it stand up again, unharmed. A wave of fear washed over me, and I took a step back, my mind racing to find a solution.

Suddenly, the creatures focused their attack on Scott, pushing him onto his back. Isaac stepped forward to defend him, but one of the figures revealed a sword, executing expert manoeuvres that forced Isaac to retreat. We watched in horror as they grabbed Aiden, one of them placing a hand behind his ear. Their eyes glowed like fireflies, and a shiver ran down my spine. Aiden collapsed to the floor, unconscious.

When they were done with Aiden, they turned their attention to us. My heart pounded in my chest as the figures moved closer. Scott stood up, his red Alpha eyes blazing with defiance. He let out a roar, his powerful voice echoing through the room. I glanced at Kira, noting her shock at seeing Scott in his werewolf form for the first time.

Just as the creatures were about to reach us, the first rays of sunlight pierced through the windows. The transformation was instantaneous. The eerie figures began to disintegrate, turning into dust before our eyes, moving towards me and as it touches my skin, I feel a sharp pain in my head and grab a hold of it, as another vision takes over my mind. It's all blurry and unclear but dark - so dark it scares the crap out of me, and all I see is a shadow moving closer and closer towards me, and just as it's about to reach me the vision ends and I'm on the floor shaking, out of breath, Derek knelt down in front of me, holding my hands which I realise I had been squeezing.
