Third person's pov
In his small shoe shop, Taehyung was meticulously crafting a new pair of custom shoes. The smell of leather and polish filled the air as he focused on his work. Suddenly, his phone rang, breaking his concentration. He wiped his hands on his apron before picking it up.
"Hello?" Taehyung answered, slightly annoyed at the interruption.
"Taehyung, it's been so long!" an excited voice greeted him. It took a moment, but he recognized it as Choi Hyeona, an old college friend.
"Hyeona, wow, it has been a while. How are you?" he asked, genuinely surprised.
"I'm great! Listen, I wanted to invite you to our class reunion at the end of this week. It'll be so much fun to see everyone again."
Taehyung hesitated for a moment, his mind racing. "A reunion, huh? Sure, I'll be there."
"Great! Can't wait to catch up. See you soon!" Hyeona said before hanging up.
Taehyung set his phone down and sighed, his mind drifting to thoughts of Jungkook. Would he be there? What did he look like now? How had he been? The questions swirled in his mind, bringing back a flood of memories and unresolved emotions.
Meanwhile with Jungkook........
Meanwhile, in a much more luxurious setting, Jungkook was pacing in his room, debating whether he should go to the reunion. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
The maid entered and informed him that Hyunjae and Sujae were home. Jungkook nodded and made his way downstairs.
As he entered the living room, Hyunjae looked up. "Hey, eomma, how was your day?" he asked.
Jungkook sighed, flopping onto the couch. "I'm stuck on something," he admitted.
Sujae looked up with interest. "What is it?"
"I have a class reunion coming up, and I want to go... but at the same time, I don't want to go," Jungkook explained, his face scrunched up in confusion.
Hyunjae chuckled. "Well, what do you want to do more?"
Jungkook thought for a moment. "I want to go."
"Then go," Hyunjae said simply.
"But I also don't want to go," Jungkook added.
Sujae rolled his eyes. "So dramatic," he muttered before turning to the maid. "Set up lunch, please."
At the dinner table, Jungkook was absentmindedly playing with his food, his mind clearly elsewhere. Hyunjae, noticing this, took Jungkook's fork and started feeding him.
"Come on, it's just a reunion. Don't take it so seriously," Hyunjae said, gently coaxing him to eat.
"But I'm really confused," Jungkook mumbled between bites, his expression forlorn.
Sujae leaned in with a teasing smile. "Will that person be there too? You said he was in your college."
Jungkook nodded, his pout becoming more pronounced.
Hyunjae raised an eyebrow. "So you're confused because of him?"
Jungkook nodded again, looking like a lost puppy.
Hyunjae sighed and ruffled Jungkook's hair. "If you want, I can go with you."
Jungkook shook his head vigorously. "No, no, that would be really awkward."
For a few moments everything was calm until, Jungkook stood up from his chair suddenly,
" AHHHH WHAT SHOULD I DO?" He shouted and then without waiting for a response he went to his room. Hyunjae and Sujae were just looking at the closed door with forks in their hands and trying to process Jungkook's outbreak.
