Third person's pov
As Sujae revealed that it was Choi Jun, Hyunjae’s eyes darkened with rage. He handed the car keys to Sujae with a firm command, "Go and wait in the car. I’ll be back soon!"
Without waiting for a response, Hyunjae strode purposefully in the direction Jun had gone. His fists clenched at his sides. When he spotted Jun, he didn't hesitate. With a swift, powerful kick to the back, Jun stumbled and fell to the ground.
Jun twisted around, his face contorted with pain and shock. "WHAT THE HELL!" he shouted, making a few people look into their direction.
Hyunjae grabbed Jun by the collar and hauled him to his feet, his grip tight. "Your parents will be childless now," he growled, his voice low and scary.
"What the heck, leave me!"
Jun struggled, trying to break free. He couldn't escape Hyunjae's strong grip. With a fierce punch, Hyunjae's knuckles connected with Jun's face, sending a spray of blood from his nose.
Suddenly, Sujae came there, and as he saw what was happening, he tried to make Hyunjae leave Jun.
"Hyung, let's go, the ice cream will melt." He glanced at Jun before saying, "He's not worth wasting ice cream."
Hyunjae glanced over his shoulder at Sujae, then back at Jun. With a final, contemptuous slap, he snarled, "Mind your language next time you speak to my brother, and mind your thoughts the next time you think about my mother."
He shoved Jun away and turned to leave, his arm around Sujae's shoulders as they walked back to the car. Sujae looked up at Hyunjae,
"That bastard isn't even worth a minute," Sujae muttered as they got into the car.
Hyunjae started the engine, his face still set in hard lines. "Sometimes you have to show people their worth. You can't always ignore them."
At Park mansion...............
Later that night, Jungkook sat on his bed, his phone in hand. He dialed Taehyung’s number, his heart lightening at the thought of hearing his voice. After a few rings, Taehyung picked up.
"Hi, Boba," Taehyung's voice came through, warm and soft. "Have you eaten your dinner?"
Jungkook smiled, leaning back against the headboard. "Yes, I have. Have you?"
"Mmhm," Taehyung hummed in response, the sound comforting.
Jungkook sighed, a wistful note in his voice. "Ahh, I want to ride a bike."
Taehyung chuckled. "Right now?"
Jungkook nodded, then realized Taehyung couldn’t see him.
"Were you nodding?" Taehyung asked.
"Yes," Jungkook replied with a laugh.
"So, you want to ride a bike," Taehyung said, his voice softening even more. "Remember how we used to ride back in our college days? It was so fun."
Jungkook's smile grew, memories flooding back.
"So you want to go back in time, huh?" Taehyung asked, and this question made Jungkook's smile slightly fade.
Jungkook shook his head, his voice becoming serious. "No, I never want to go back....I don't think I can handle the past again."
A silence settled between them for a few seconds after Jungkook’s response.
"Are you free right now?" Taehyung asked, breaking the silence.
Jungkook hesitated. "I have to check a few things, but it's not important."
