Third person's pov
The sun was just beginning to peek through the windows of the Kim household. Hyunjae stirred, blinking groggily at his alarm clock. It was 6 a.m., time to start the day. He groaned, stretching his arms above his head before swinging his legs over the side of the bed.
He knew he had to get ready for work and wake Sujae up for college.
Yawning, he shuffled towards the bathroom attached to his room, only to find the door locked. "Seriously?" he muttered, knocking on the door. No response. He sighed heavily. "Not right now," he grumbled, turning away.
As he headed downstairs, he heard the faint clinking of dishes. Soohyun was already busy in the kitchen.
"There are two bathrooms, right?" Hyunjae asked, stepping inside.
Soohyun, flipping pancakes, nodded without looking up. "Yep."
"Where's the other one?" Hyunjae asked, hoping for a quick solution.
"In Appa's bedroom. Oh, I mean the bedroom Sujae is staying in," Soohyun replied.
Hyunjae nodded and hurried towards Sujae's room, only to hear the sound of running water. "You've got to be kidding me," he groaned, realizing Sujae was already in the shower. He let out a loud curse, going back to Soohyun.
"Sujae is taking a shower. What the hell am I supposed to do now?" he exclaimed, throwing his hands up in frustration.
Soohyun shrugged, still focused on the pancakes. "Wait."
"I'm going to be late," Hyunjae complained, pacing back and forth.
"Then try to get up earlier tomorrow," Soohyun suggested calmly.
Hyunjae let out a frustrated growl and stomped back to his room. He knocked on the bathroom door, calling out, "Hurry up! Some of us have things to do!"
"Wait!"
A few moments later, Hyunjae was getting more impatient and as he leaned in to knock again, the door suddenly opened. Before Hyunjae could react, he fell on Taewon and they both slipped on the wet floor and fell inside the bathroom with a loud crash.
"AHHHH!" Hyunjae's shout echoed through the house, quickly followed by Taewon's.
Soohyun came rushing in, eyes wide with concern. She found Hyunjae sprawled on top of Taewon, both of them tangled in a heap on the floor. Taewon was struggling to push Hyunjae off, yelling, "Get off me you heavy monkey!"
"What were you guys even doing at this time?" Soohyun said, helping Hyunjae to his feet.
"It's his fault," Hyunjae snapped, pointing at Taewon.
"It's not my fault you can't wait," Taewon retorted, groaning as he held his back. "You're so heavy. I thought I was going to die."
"It wasn't a comfortable experience for me either," Hyunjae shot back. "Now get out, I have to take a shower."
Taewon huffed, muttering under his breath as he stormed out of the bathroom. Soohyun just shook her head, muttering, "Unbelievable," before returning to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, on the Island, Jungkook lay sprawled atop Taehyung, his face nestled into Taehyung's chest. Taehyung woke slowly, blinking away the remnants of sleep, and gazed down at Jungkook's peaceful expression.
"Good morning my baby," he said, patting Jungkook's belly gently.
For a moment, he just watched Jungkook, "Prince," he whispered softly, running his fingers through Jungkook's hair. "Get up, it's morning."
