Third person's pov

In the kitchen, Taehyung was hugging Jungkook tightly, trying to calm him down. Suddenly, Soohyun appeared with a torch, the beam of light casting a glow on her face.

"Appa, here," she said, handing the torch to Taehyung.

"Is everyone okay?" Taehyung asked, taking the torch from Soohyun.

Soohyun nodded. "Yes, let’s go to the living room."

Taehyung nodded back, grabbed Jungkook's hand, and followed Soohyun to the living room. He could feel Jungkook’s hand trembling slightly in his, and he gave it a reassuring squeeze.

In the living room, everyone was seated on the floor. Soohyun brought some blankets and handed them out to each person. The room was dimly lit by the torches and phone flashlights, creating a cozy yet scary atmosphere.

Jungkook was nestled between Hyunjae and Taehyung, his blanket wrapped tightly around him, making him look like a burrito. Sujae was still hugging Hyunjae’s arm. Taewon sat next to Heejin and Soohyun, completing the circle.

Jungkook, his voice small, asked, "When is the light going to come back?"

Taehyung sighed and shook his head. "I don't know. It never goes out at this time. There must have been an issue."

Jungkook tightened the blanket around himself, looking almost comically snug. Taehyung couldn’t help but think he looked adorable, like a treat he just wanted to gobble up.

Soohyun suggested, "Why don't we share horror stories?"

Taewon immediately protested, "No, noona! It's already scary."

Taehyung nudged Taewon playfully. "C'mon, it will be fun."

Jungkook, looking even more like a burrito, snuggled deeper into his blanket and against Hyunjae’s arm. After a bit of arguing, they finally agreed to tell horror stories, starting with Taehyung.

Taehyung took a deep breath, setting the mood with his tone. "Alright, here we go. This is a story I heard from a friend of a friend. It happened in a small, secluded village, surrounded by thick forests. The villagers really brave but they were all terrified of one thing: the old, abandoned house at the edge of the forest."

He paused, glancing around to see everyone’s reactions. They were all leaning in, eyes wide.

"They said the house was cursed," Taehyung continued. "No one dared to go near it, especially after dark. But one night, a group of friends, decided to test their bravery. They wanted to prove that the stories were just myths, so they made a plan to spend the night in the house."

Jungkook shivered, pulling the blanket tighter around himself, and Taehyung noticed Hyunjae instinctively tightening his grip on Jungkook’s shoulder.

"That night was dark. The friends gathered their courage and headed to the house. As they approached, the wind howled through the trees, and the house seemed to loom larger with every step."

Heejin's eyes got wider, and Taewon was already biting his nails.

"The house was cold and musty. Dust covered every surfaced. They set up their sleeping bags in the living room, trying to ignore the feeling that they were being watched."

Heejin hugged her knees to her chest, her eyes fixed on Taehyung as he continued.

"As the night went on, strange things started to happen. They heard footsteps above them, even though the house was supposed to be empty. Doors creaked open and slammed shut by themselves. One of the friends, a girl named Minji, decided to investigate."
