Third person's pov

As Taehyung mentioned that he would be going with Jungkook to Sujae's college, Jungkook looked at him with slightly teary eyes. "Taehyung," he said, his voice trembling slightly.

Taehyung immediately noticed Jungkook's teary eyes and stepped closer, a concerned yet warm smile on his face. "Oh my love, why are you crying?"

He gently cupped Jungkook's face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away the tears.

Jungkook took a shaky breath. "I... I don't deserve you."

Taehyung's eyes softened even more. "I'm the one who should be saying this." He shook his head firmly, his hands still holding Jungkook's face. "Love, don't speak nonsense like that."

Overwhelmed, Jungkook wrapped his arms tightly around Taehyung, burying his face in Taehyung's chest. "How can I th-hank you?"

Taehyung hugged him back just as tightly, his hand moving in soothing circles on Jungkook's back. "You don't have to thank me, Rosie. I consider both Hyunjae and Sujae as my own."

Jungkook was about to say something, but Taehyung gently interrupted. "Come on, let's get going now. We can have this emotional moment later on." He pulled back slightly, looking at Jungkook with a reassuring smile.

Jungkook wiped his tears and hit Taehyung playfully on the arm. "You could have let me finish my moment," he said, but his voice was lighter, the earlier heaviness gone.

They both got into the car, and Taehyung drove them to Sujae's college. Upon arrival, Taehyung parked the car and quickly got out to open the door for Jungkook.

Jungkook stepped out with a bunny smile, immediately reaching for Taehyung's hand. They walked towards the auditorium, their fingers intertwined.

Inside, as they were finding their seats, they overheard a parent behind them. "Isn't that Mrs. Park? Is he dating someone? Oh god, these people don't even think of their age these days."

"I know right, they don't even think about their children. "

"How can a mother be this heartless? Step parents never give real love or attention. I feel bad for his son."

"Jungkook calm down!" Jungkook muttered to himself and took deep breaths. He didn’t want to break anyone's bones so he choose to use words.

He turned towards Taehyung slightly, raising his voice just enough for them to hear. "Ah, honey, why don't people mind their own business these days?"

Taehyung, catching on quickly, added with a grin, "Maybe because their lives aren't interesting enough, so they interfere in others'."

Jungkook giggled, the sound light and freeing. "Right," he said, relishing the sounds of the scoffs behind them. They shared a wink and a smile, passed between them.

As the show began, Jungkook rested his head on Taehyung’s shoulder, his eyes scanning the stage eagerly. "Where is Sujae?" he muttered,

Taehyung squeezed his hand gently. "Patience, baby. The show just started."

As the students started to take their places, Jungkook felt a surge of excitement as he spotted Sujae. "There he is," he whispered to Taehyung, pointing towards the stage where Sujae stood, looking confident and ready.

He noticed Sujae’s eyes scanning the audience, clearly searching for him. When their eyes finally met, Sujae's face lit up with a small, relieved smile. He seemed more than surprised to see Taehyung there too but quickly refocused on the play.

Throughout the performance, Jungkook couldn't take his eyes off Sujae. His son was giving it his all, and Jungkook felt a swell of pride watching him.

Suddenly, a fellow performer accidentally bumped into Sujae, causing him to lose his balance momentarily. Jungkook’s heart skipped a beat, but Sujae quickly recovered. It wasn’t a big deal but definitely noticeable.
