iris's pov: Today we were going skiing, which was a little nerve racking but Max assured me that an instructor will be there to help and if I don't like it he will sit out the rest of time with me. It was really sweet of him to have us come early to Japan trying to have me have the best time possible since this is one of my dream destinations to explore.
Currently in the car on the way up the mountain to the ski resort we will be skiing at, getting more nervous by the minute as we get closer. Feeling Max grab my hand sensing my nervousness giving it a slight squeeze making me smile up at him. "If you are too nervous to go we can just play in the snow" he chuckled out to me.
The comment made me laugh as well "No I want to ski just I'm nervous that I'll be bad and hurt something" smiling out to him. Shaking his head at me as he kissed my temple.
"You'll do great flower, I'm here to help you and P is pretty good to not going to lie" he began to tell me "Anyways I'll be right behind you to catch you if needed" giving my hand another squeeze. Thinking to myself all the time with these little moments we do have it feels natural, when he kisses me on my temple or cheek I'll never decline because at then end of the day I do like him deep down whether I want to admit to him or not.
Arriving at the ski resort getting out of the car putting our bigger puffy jackets on along with grabbing our skis and helmet with goggles. Walking towards the ski lift getting on trying to let my nerves subside as I held Max's hand.
The instructor was at the top already, so When we got up there he gave me some tips and I soon got the hang go it. I was really only able to keep straight and stop which is all I really need to know how to do. Soon getting better and better as Max and P were beside me. I was actually having a lot of fun, being able to get out and travel is one of my favorite things, Max does this for like ten months out the year yes he has to race and do his actual job on the weekend but to see all these places is breathtaking to say the least.
Taking a break for a while to let our body rest as we sat down at some benches. I currently had my arm linked with Max's as Poppy laid her lead across his lap seemingly taking a small nap it looked like. "I just wanted to thank you for making this trip special Max you seriously didn't have to" I smiled out to him as I spoke up.
Smiling back at me softly "Anything for you Ris, you deserve the best. You are great with P, with Me. I just wanted to thank you for being so kind even when I haven't been some of the times". I got lost in his eyes as he spoke to me, the lightest blue possible you can imagine, like the clearest ocean water on earth. I felt myself leaning into him, Fuck it I thought to myself the worst that can happen is I can be rejected. Leaning in grabbing his face softly giving him a gentle kiss on the lips, this was for us not for cameras not for the Pr relationship I honestly don't give two shits about it now.
Feeling his lips on mine felt so good, better than I have imagined before. Pulling away still feeling the lingering feeling as he looked at me shocked for a second. Grabbing my face to give me another kiss as well before he gave me another kiss on the corner of my mouth.
"You seriously don't know how long I have wanted to do that for Iris" he told me truthfully as he laughed a bit also making me laugh.
We soon decided it was time to go to the hotel to clean up and eat before heading off to bed. Getting back P went to the bathroom to use the toilet, walking towards my suitcase before I felt a hand grab my wrist twilling me around pulling me towards them stopping as I bumped into his chest. Seeing Max's head dip down to give me yet another kiss, putting my hands on his chest as our lips connected before I gave him a slight shove disconnecting our lips laughing at him.
Pulling me in again playfully give me another one making me smile against his lips before he pulled away "I won't be able to stop now Iris, look what you have done" laughing as I grab a change of clothes hearing P come out of the restroom, walking into the once occupied restroom deciding to have a quick shower.
Showering felt nice the warm water hitting your back relaxing your muscles from the day. Getting out after about fifteen minutes changing into my pajamas seeing dinner was here.
Walking over to sit down next to the father and daughter grabbing my plate as I began to eat. Finishing up fairly quickly deciding we should watch a movie together. Laying down on the bed as Max jumped onto it as well followed by Poppy doing the same as they both laughed. Max getting comfortable on the bed as P was laid next to him on one side and I on the other. Once he was comfortable I laid my head on his chest soon feeling sleep take over my body, falling asleep faster since Max was playing with my hair.
Some point I felt movement indicating somebody was standing, lightly opening my eyes seeing P get into her bed to go to bed as I heard Max "Goodnight my flower sleep tight I love you" then hearing P whisper she loves him back. Eyes closing once more before I felt a kiss on the top of my head from Max "Goodnight Ris" he told me quietly. Feeling him soon relax and breathing at a slower more steady pace indicating sleep has taken over him as well.
