max's pov:
We picked up Celeste mid day, soon heading to the airport. The flight was going to be pretty short just shy of three hours. We were sitting on the plane, Iris was next to Celeste as I was next to P. In the air moments later P kept turning to me "daddy I want to sit with Riri, pretty please" she pleaded out. Looking over at Iris and Celeste catching up.

Turning back to P "No P stay here with me for the flight Riri is catching up with Lest okay. They haven't seen each other in a while flower" brushing some hair behind her ear. She still didn't take it very well pouting and crossing her arms at me as she sat next to me.

From the corner of my eyes seeing Iris looking in our direction every so often before pausing her conversation with Celeste and coming up to us. Seeing Poppy's sour mood Iris always knew how to cheer her up "What's wrong princess why you have that look" she asked her softly hoping not to fuel the fire and cause P to get more upset, which is basically impossible for Iris to do but she still took caution.

P looking over at Iris before practically crying in her arms, I looked over at Celeste as we both tried to contain our laughter, holding back our smiles so she wouldn't see. Not that it was a funny situation just how dramatic Poppy can be over little things can be a tad funny sometimes. "I just wanted to sit with you Riri, but daddy told me no cause you and Lest are talking. I didn't even want to talk just be with you" she got out in one breath.

Iris soon looking over at me with an are you serious look before speaking to P once more "Oh no honey you can come sit with me whenever you want okay. Just ask me don't listen to daddy" she laughed out to her making P smile brightly at her. Before turning around to me and sticking her tongue out at me and walking away with Iris to her seat. All of us laughing at how sassy she is getting to be towards. I'm starting to think she likes Iris more than me, all I ever hear is Riri this or Riri likes this or shows me this. Don't get me wrong I love Iris.

What the fuck did I just think to myself I love Iris. Looking over at her as the girls talked once more seeing how delicate she is towards P as she played with Poppy's hair subconsciously now if she is seated in her lap. I can't let my self fall in love but it's seemingly to late, that's how I ended up with Poppy all by myself I can't have the same thing happen again if I let this go to far. But deep down I can't push her away I would feel like an absolute idiot, Poppy loves her so much and to ruin it for her and for myself would be foolish. Still looking over at her as she laughs at something Celeste said to her hearing her angelic laugh come from her lips. I've noticed every time she laughs she always tends to scrunch her nose and cover her mouth.

I guess Iris noticed me staring to long before excusing her self from Celeste and telling her to keep Poppy company. Standing up lifting P off her legs and setting her down in her once occupied seat by her to now be occupied by P. Watching her walk and sit next to me to as she grabbed my hand sending a shock up my arm and down my spine giving my hand a gentle kiss. Looking over at Poppy now talking to Celeste excitedly, turning my head back to Iris not realizing how close her face was once my head was turned towards her.

Looking into the pool of honey her eyes her sweet sweet eyes, falling harder and deeper the longer I stare. "What's up you have been staring for quite a while now" smiled out to me. Taking my left hand and gently placing it behind her head tangling my hands in her hair as I leaned in to close the small gap between us.

Disconnecting our lips a few second later. Opening my eyes to see her smiling at me blushing, setting her head down on my shoulder. Finally deciding to answer her question "nothing just admiring how good you are with P and how lucky I am to have you" giving her a kiss on the back of her head since it was still facing down on my shoulder.

Today was media day which is one of my least favorite days, all the stupid ass questions and they end up asking basically the same thing over various interviews so it gets pretty repetitive. When we walked into the paddock I had P on my shoulders as Iris and Celeste loosely followed behind us chatting hearing the fans scream our names. I handed Poppy over to Iris and Celeste as I went to go sign some things for them, watching them get farther in the distance then seeing them enter McLaren's garage guessing they went to go see Lando.

iris's pov:
Walking into Maclarne's garage wanting Celeste to meet Lando since I wanted to play match maker secretly and also P wanted to see him. Getting farther inside the garage hearing all the commotion going on around us but it's pretty normal to me now. Looking around for Lando but not seeing him anywhere before hearing a voice in my ear "Booo" as his hands shook my shoulders. Turning around giving Lando a hug as did P.

Before even getting the chance to introduce Lest to him hearing his voice "So Iris when were you going to introduce to your friend" he asked as he swung his arm around my shoulder now facing Celeste. Shaking my head and laughing at his directness.

Before he said something else I quickly responded "Well I was going to but someone interrupted me before I was able to" I laughed out getting out of his grasp. I could tell Lando liked her his eyes sparkled a little and Celeste is playing it up.

         "Do you want to stay here or go explore some more Lest I'm pretty sure Lan has to do interviews soon" I told her dragging her by the arm practically. We soon walked out and went to go explore a bit as Max did some interviews. Having P with us is fun she is like a little best friend with us.

     We were walking around unironically running into Max as I wasn't looking where I was going. We soon decided to all walk together as Max had a conference meeting with the rest of the drivers. He took us all with him and made us sit in the back.

Honestly listening to some of the questions were boring but Max, Charles, Lando, and Daniel were all sat near each other which meant chaos by the men acting like children. Never paying attention to what the persons questions were. After a while they started asking Max questions seeing his expression he was definitely over it at this point. Zoning out a bit before I heard the mention of my name which confused me. Perking up in my seat to listen to the question. "How does having a singer Like Iris help you or is she just a distraction" he directed the question to Max.

     Max taking back before seeing him start to get upset. Sitting up straighter in his seat speaking up "Well I don't know how my love life has anything to do with racing at all. Iris and my daughter are all I need at the moment not that I should be telling you this information. But that is the first and last I speak on Iris" with annoyance dripping from his voice as he stared the man down.

    The press ended soon indicating we were free to leave for the day which meant going back to the hotel and doing absolutely nothing.
