max's pov: seven months, due date: 5-1-24 It's been about a month since the new year, Iris finally started to show but just a very tiny bit honestly it would barely be noticeable. But Iris was over the moon seeing the tiny bump on her stomach now that she was finally showing. P was also all over the bump but I can't say anything because I was too.
Iris barely took down the Christmas lights down yesterday. We have been trying to relax for the past month, staying indoors as much as possible trying to get Iris to lower her blood pressure from stress but it's been pretty difficult. The only thing to calm her has been writing a making music.
I was currently walking down the hallway but I heard the piano softly playing a couple notes. Stopping in front of my sim room pressing my ear to the door hearing her sing softly to herself. It was already pretty late she showered earlier but I was busy putting P to be to see where she went to next.
I softly open the door to see her sitting in her towel playing the piano as she sang some lyrics softly. Every so often she would repeat herself trying to get the lyrics right. Smiling as I walked behind her leaning down and wrapping my arms around her seeing she was recording having the phone propped up in the corner of the piano.
She tilted her head up as she stopped trying to look behind her as she felt my arms around her. Smiling at me as I sat down next to her before picking her up to place her on my lap as she continued to play. Listening to her lyrics switch back and for the between verses and the chorus. Her voice was absolutely stunning, Kissing her neck a couple times as she would giggle between lyrics. She played around with some lyrics as well. But she leaned her head back into my shoulder when she felt done for the day. Giving her head a kiss "It's beautiful my love" I told her making her smile a bit.
"Well that's good that you like it...it's definitely not about you" she said sarcastically making me laugh as well. She finally stood up indicating she wanted to go to bed.
Walking to our room as she went to steal one of my shirts to sleep in before hoping into bed. I was already ready for bed so I was just waiting on her. Feeling the bed dip down as she laid on her back, immediately pulling myself closer to her laying my head on her chest as my fingers traced lines up and down on her small bump as the baby kicked once more.
"She will definitely be a daddy's girl just from by the reactions you get while she is still in me" she joked out making me laugh.
"Oh please like you didn't steal P from me" I joked with her as she let out a good laugh. "Also we need start getting things for the little beans room" I told her before she agreed quickly.
"What room should we put her in cause the rooms on this side are all taken up, the only one left is across the house" she asked. the closet was P's room, then the sim room and at the end before the kitchen was Iris's old room.
"Love you already sleep in here everyday and half of your stuff is here, just bring the rest of your stuff" I told her honestly which made her laugh before finally agreeing that she is never in her old room.

She hasn't been able to get over her bump, taking a picture anytime she saw herself in the mirror masking me smile. Anytime we go out and she has an outfit she takes a little mirror selfie
