Suddenly, all men stepped in one side, somehow beside their partner. Jason was right beside me, and he kneeled down. He held my hand and kissed it. They all did the same, and I looked beside me at the girl in front of Marco. Her dress wasn't exactly the same as his tuxedo. She wore a long, slim red dress that exposed her back and her arms. She had brown hair with a little blonde. Her smile was so bright as well as Marco's. They looked so happy as if he was proposing to her. They stood up, and Jason came in front of me. "Cleo, please focus." He held my arms and started rubbing them. "I need you to focus, ok?" He made me look at him. "Please. We don't want to lose you." He said in a calming voice, and I nodded. I couldn't help the frown on my face.

I looked down, avoiding everything. I didn't know what was next. All I knew was that... I either kill my love or kill myself. I laughed. "Does he even love me?" I asked Jason, but when I looked up, it wasn't him.

Marco stood there holding my arms. His hand moved to hold mine. He kissed it and asked... "Your partner?" I looked at him, feeling defeated. I felt the need to cry, but it was impossible. Even though he tried to hide his voice, I could tell it's him. I know it's him, but he has no idea that it's me. So I smiled, I moved my hands behind his neck. "Yes, do you think he loves me?" He hummed and looked at Jason. "If he's not using you just for the event now..." He sighed and looked at me. "Maybe he does." He said.

I rolled my eyes he had to say that. Yes, my damn boyfriend is using me but for other reasons. "He doesn't." After a minute, I spoke. His smile faded slowly, and he took a deep breath. "Such a loser." He said I almost laughed, but I held it inside of me. I'm not going to expose myself. I can change my voice when I speak, but not when I laugh.

I really wanted to say (so now you're calling yourself a loser), but I didn't. Instead, I had to step up my game.

I looked at Jason and shrugged. "Yeah, he's not good in bed, so...it doesn't really matter." I spoke carelessly. When I looked at Marco, he narrowed his eyebrows. I felt his grip tighten around my waist, and he pulled me closer till our chests touched. "You... slept with him?" He asked, staring deep in my eyes. I smiled awkwardly and looked away. "What the hell is that question?" I said. It pissed him, so he took a deep breath. "Can you answer my ques- I'm sorry, but who are you to ask??!" I cut him off. I moved away from him. He chuckled. "Wanna go somewhere private? I'll show you who I am." He said. "Just tell me your name." I crossed my arms, and he did the same.

"Follow me, and I'll tell you." I didn't move, and he rolled his eyes. Suddenly, he carried me, making me gasp. "Hey!!" People around us gasped too. They laughed. "You people!!" I whispered, and he chuckled. "Put me down right now, Mr- uhmm whoever you are!!"

But he didn't listen. He carried me to a room with couches, tables, and a king-sized bed in the middle of it. He slammed the door shut and locked it, then threw me on the bed. "Ow! You bastard." I was about to get up, but he got on top of me and held both of my hands. I tried to free my hands but he was too strong and heavy. He leaned closer, making me nervous yet calm down and stop moving my hands. He looked me in the eyes, mad while I starred daggers at him. "Did you sleep with that guy?" He asked. "Ugh! Why does it matter to you?!" I shouted. He closed his eyes and whispered to himself. "I hope I'm wrong..." I looked at him confused. "Get off me." I said, and he looked at me again. "It matters to me because I don't like other men touching what's mine." I tried to free my hands from him.

"I am not yours."

Saying that, he got even more mad. He left me and got off the bed. He hit something with his leg and shouted. "Fuck!" I got up and walked behind him.
