I put my hand in my pocket as I walked upstairs. I entered my room and locked it behind me. How? Just how? Why does fate take such turns on me?! I already did. I already did fall in love with this man and suddenly now he's, my enemy. How will I face him now? All on my own.
I cried. Falling to the floor, I couldn't bear it. I sobbed silently. No one knows about this. I can't share my pain. I can't avoid it. It has to be me who backstabs him after all the affection he showed me. Even if it was all lies, I know for a fact that what I have for him is genuine. I have to continue, to love him and act like I don't know anything. "It's going to be so hard..."

Suddenly the phone rang in my pocket. I took it out and saw it. I cried even louder. He was calling.... I left it on the ground, staring at his name as I cried my eyes out. Maybe I should stay away from him and tell my father that he never showed attention. I could make up any lie, but he will know. I should do as he says for now then think of something later. I took a deep breath trying to calm down. Taking the phone, I walked to the balcony. He was still calling. I cleared my throat and answered him.

*Well, hello, Fireball.* I giggled. "Hey, Marco." I tried to speak well, so he wouldn't know I was crying. *Where have you been? I missed you.*

I clenched my fist at the last part. The possibility that he was forced to say this is very strong. It's a lie. I wouldn't lie about my feelings but now I'm not sure. I feel like this is wrong I should confront him, but I will have to lie as well. "I missed you too, Marco..." I spoke. *Are you Alright? You sound a bit low, no?* I coughed. "I'm a bit sick, don't worry about me. How are you?" I changed the subject and he sighed.
*I'm not fine. *
"What?! Why?"
*Because I miss you. *
"Oh..." I would have said the same but not anymore. It feels different.
*Let's go on a date.* He said.

I gripped on the phone and gritted my teeth. My trust in him has faded completely, maybe a part of me still loves him and believe those little moments with him were real, that same part believes my father more. But again, this man would try anything to make my life a living hell.

"Yeah, let's do it. When and where?" I asked him. *Now.* My eyes widened. "Now??!" I sat on the bed, trying to remain calm. *Yeah, I'm on my way to your house now. See you, Love.*
"Wait- MARCO?!"

I stood up in a hurry and left the room running. I called Sofia as I ran past the guards. She answered right away. "Sofia, we need to go back to the mansion RIGHT NOW! Meet me at the front door with any car keys." I said. She answered, "On it." then closed the call. I tried calling Marco again to stop him from going now but he didn't answer. If he goes to the mansion and I'm not there the guards will not allow him to enter, he could make some trouble with them. Even start blaming me for not telling him I wasn't home.

Within ten minutes we reached the mansion, I rushed inside the house to take a quick shower before he comes but my phone rang. I can keep him waiting, right? I walked up the stairs and ignored the phone, but he called again. I reached my room and I had to answer.

"Marco I'm not ready yet."
*I know. I saw you get inside the house right now.*
"What--You could've told me that you can't.*
"It's not that. I didn't get to--Fireball, where were you?*
"I was I uhm aat a grocery shop."
*Okay I'm waiting for you. Even if it takes forever.*

I laughed. I could feel him wink through the phone. This guy is something else. We closed the call, and I took a quick shower then dressed up. I went downstairs to see Sofia and Austin sitting in the living room talking. "I'll be out." I said as I opened the door and left. "Wait, Boss!" I heard Austin behind. "Yes?" I turned to him. "Be careful." He spoke. I smiled and nodded. I walked till I reached the gate and found Marco on the other side. Waiting on his Motorbike.
"Oh wow, we are going somewhere less fancy tonight?" I said as I walked to him. He smiled when he saw me. "Well, I thought I should teach you how to ride a motorbike." I paused. I nodded my head no and laughed. "You're not going to do that." I spoke.
