CLEO POV:--
Six months have passed since Enzo's death. Natasha has gotten a lot better by the passing time. She always stayed by my side and supported me through every problem I encountered in this world. But she could never help in a matter that involves my father. He, unlike the others, kept reminding me of Enzo. Every time I talk to him, he ends the conversation with... "Don't be the cause of someone's death again."
And Aurelia never changed. She kept pissing me off every now and then. Ryder would stop me from killing her...ugh.
It was another day at school but this time I was driving. Father insisted I learn driving and drive more. I reached the school park, and the rest followed me as usual.
As I got out of the car, my phone rang. I smiled at the caller ID. It was Delilah. I answered her right away. It's been 2 weeks since we called."Hey D! How are you doing?"
*I'm great. And you? It's been a while since I've heard your voice. Girl, I've missed you!*
"Haha, me too. I'm great as long as you're fine, bestie."
*Stop being sweet, haha. Anyways, what are you doing?*
"Hmm, I'm at school right now. My first class will start in a few --While talking on her phone. Cleo didn't notice who was coming behind her. Her lovely laugh attracted his full attention to her, and without realizing it, he was already walking to her.
"Ahahaha girl, that wasn't supposed to be it-- Gasp.
She froze.
Strong arms hugged her from behind, trapping her. He started kissing her neck and smelling her intoxicating scent, which made him go crazy for her...
"Hey! What..! Who!?" She looked above her and saw Marco grinning at her, then kissed her forehead wholesomely.
"Oh. Uhm Hey D! I. I'll call you later, ok? Bye!"Ever since that party and they grew close after his confession, he asked her out on dates. And she thought the only way to move on from Enzo's death was to be with someone. It would also distract her anxiety and fear of the world that her father drew in her mind.
Marco was her someone. Her warmth, her best friend, her love, the shoulder to cry on, her listener, her protector. She found her peace in him. And he found everything he ever needed in her.
"Marco!" She turned around and hugged him. "My love." he hugged her back. "Haha, I told you before not to call me that, didn't I?!" She hit his shoulder and started walking. He held her hand and walked with her. "If I didn't call you that, then who will I call my love? Hm?" She stopped and blushed, looking away from him. She was still not used to it... She had had a crush on him since the first sight, but she could never imagine him falling so hard for her. "Ay, that's. I... uhm... okay. " He laughed, loving it when she's all flustered. The bell started ringing, and it was time for class. "Come on, let's get to class." He'd always be beside her even walking her to class. But this time, he wasn't going to..."Marco, I'll do that, and you too. I'm late so I have to run. See you!"
"What...!? But it just rang...?" Whenever he says something like that to her, she could never let him see her face. So, she always made up an excuse to run away. And she couldn't focus very well on class. The idea is still unbelievable to her. She couldn't wait till class ended to go and see him again. They've been dating for three months now, and they're already this close. Perfect for each other and easily get along. Even study together, make plans for tomorrow. He'd be worried if one day goes by without talking to her and seeing her. Sometimes, he even visits her home and teaches her how to play basketball.
"Daydreaming about me?" Startling her there, he was sitting in the chair in front of her. "What are you doing here?!" she looked at her watch and stood up. He chuckled, "Darling class has been over for five minutes now."
