"You look like a mess..." After a minute she spoke, looking at Aurelia with pity but disgust. "Are you Aurelia? The same girl who tried to bully me and my friend when I was younger?" She asked and narrowed her eyebrows. Aurelia gulped and saw the anger in her eyes. Cleo lowered her head down to her. "Are you the one who tried to take advantage of me being sick and tried to spread lies between the mafia?" She asked her with widened mad eyes. Aurelia sniffed and looked down, scared of her. "It was Miss Camilla. I only followed her orders. Please have mercy on me!" Cleo looked at her for a minute, thinking. "Please forgive me! I promise I won't do anything wrong again, please!" She suddenly held her legs, begging and crying. The guards behind Cleo aimed their weapons at her and she backed away, fearfully. "Please forgive me, Cleo!"

"That's miss Marino for you." She cried more and nodded her head. "Yes, Miss Marino. Please! Please I'll obey you and only you, please don't kill me!" Cleo gestured for the guards to make her stand on her feet. They held her face so she looks at Cleo.
"What was her plan?" She asked. "To kill you.—— Aha Tell me something new!——That was her only plan, I don't know the rest. She only wanted to get rid of you so there wouldn't be any heir but her. I heard she even wanted to kill Mr. Marino to take all of his money as soon as possible! Please don't kill me!" Cleo narrowed her eyebrows.
"One more question.... Who else is with you in this?" She asked coldly. Aurelia sniffed then answered, "Uhh... you will spare me if I tell you?" That question was enough to piss Cleo off, she took out her gun. "No! No! I'm sorry!—— Answer my question!!"

"J...Jason..." She stuttered and looked away as she continued. "....and Sofia." Cleo lowered the gun, her eyes wide in shock, she looked to the side, trying to understand. "What? You better not be lying!—— I wouldn't lie when I'm on the verge of death!! Please just spare me.... I beg you!" She did make sense. She's too coward to lie with a gun pointed to her head. After all she isn't loyal to any specific person or leader. Cleo put the gun away and walked out of there. "Please! Don't leave me here!!" She ran after her screaming, she was about to grab Cleo's shirt but got punched. She screamed in pain and held her cheek. Cleo turned her head to her with a knife in her hand, the tip of the knife had blood dripping off it. "Don't you dare get close to me." She said with a deadly stare. Aurelia cried as she looked at her hand filled with blood from her cheek. "Get me Jason and Sofia. Then Let her go." Cleo commanded the men and they bowed to her, she glanced at Aurelia one last time then left.

She stopped in the middle of the stairs. Her head high and looking straight forward, anywhere but his way. "You heard everything with your own ears." She said coldly then left from his side. His hands turned into fists and he looked down angrily. "Cleo." He called high enough so she could hear before getting out of the door. She stopped and he knew she did, "...." She waited for him to say whatever he wants to say but Vincent couldn't say anything. She turned around but didn't look his way and sighed. Till he finally spoke, "If they are seriously involved..... cut their hands..." she widened her eyes at what he said. He turned around and walked to her. "After all, betraying the Marinos is the biggest crime. Can't imagine trying to kill the heir herself...damn." He sighed then suddenly laughed an evil laugh that sent chills down her spine. He kept laughing even while going out of the basement.
As soon as he left, her legs couldn't hold her. She fell on her knees and stared at the floor. Imagining the pain and the faces of Jason and Sofia, two of her closest friends and followers. She gulped, remembering his previous words and threats. "I have to do something." She stood up and walked out of the basement. She dialled Jason's number and he answered right away. "Jason! Where are you?!" She shouted in fear but her voice made it sound like an angry tone. She held her throat, she was slowly becoming more like her father. "I need to see you right now. Come to the mansion." She didn't listen to where he was and closed the call. She dialled Sofia. "Hey, Sof. I need to see you. The mansion ASAP." She reached her car and started driving but stopped mid way before going too far. She drove backwards, "Bring her to me!!" She shouted to the guards and after a minute the came out with Aurelia. Cleo got out of the car, "Untie her. Listen here, I'm giving you one chance if you ruin this you're dead. Follow me." Aurelia obeyed her and ran after her.
