Closing the door behind her, she leaned her head on it and sighed, trying to get Aurelia's words out of her head. She tried to bury it, she tried to ignore it but no matter what, he was always on her mind. It kept repeating, and once again, the guilt started eating her. Every possibility has come to her mind again. "What if." She said, closing her eyes. "What if I didn't tell him?"

"What if I died instead of him?"

"What if I could've saved him?"

She walked to her bed slowly. Repeating every question starting with what if. She felt devastated. Aurelia hit her heart right in the spot this time. She got what she wanted. She played it right.

"What if it was me who killed him?" She spoke to herself as her tears fell.

Aurelia shook the guilt Cleo buried in a matter of days with so much struggle...

Her phone rang in her pocket, making her flinch. Seeing the caller ID was unknown, she took a deep breath and cleared her throat, then answered. "Hello?" All she heard was breathing on the other side of the line. She rolled her eyes... "Hello?!" She was about to close when *Cleo? Hey, Fireball! *

Her mouth formed a shocked O. Putting the phone down, she walked around the room for a minute. Then, she sat down and cleared her throat. "Who's it?"   *Who do you think?*  He said jokingly as she frowned.

"Uh, bye then." She felt down. Wasn't ready to talk to him or anyone else.

*NO no hey wait!*

"What is it, Marco?"

*I want to see you.*  he said. It caught her off guard.

She laughed, trying to avoid it as she walked to the balcony.

"What are you- Meet me tomorrow. And one day next week before the party. *

She looked at the sky, thinking. What will happen if she goes? and what if she doesn't? What could simply happen if she snuck out, to have a breather out of these walls that are trapping her. She didn't care since it was Marco. Somehow, he makes her smile when she's the most upset.

"What could go wrong?" she said to herself. *Hm? is that a, yes?* He spoke. "Yeah... Where?" She said hesitantly. After telling her the location, she closed and threw herself on the bed.

"I'll just try not to get attached to him. Never love. I could never love him." She sat down and looked at her hands... "He could never love me. He doesn't miss me, not like that. It's just lies."

One week later. During that time, Marco and I became close friends. It was a very open friendship. He cheered me up and made me laugh all the time. It was really the best. And now it's time to prepare for the party. Apparently, not all of us were invited. Only me and Ryder, Natasha as well, but she didn't feel like partying. I didn't either, but they forced me. The term they are Delilah and Marco. Last night, after going out with Marco, maybe he tried to convince me to come, but calling Delilah reassured me so much. She only gave me one reason, and it was convincing enough besides Father never called since the last deal. We got special invites with our names on it, and Aurelia was pissed off when she didn't get one. It was hilarious.
