Chapter 20

After finishing all the classes, school day was over. I went out of my last class, reading the book and trying to understand what the teacher just explained. Which was really confusing. "I need to study more..." I said to myself. Walking down the stairs to go to my locker and take some books from there, I saw my squad already standing there and waiting. "Hey guys." I said to them and went to my locker. "Heyyyy!" Natasha said.
"How was your first day?" She asked walking to me. "It was fine." I answered. I took all that I needed and put them in my bag then closed the locker. "Shall we go now?" Ryder asked looking at me and my bag. "Yeah I'm finished let's go."

We got out of school to the parking lot and stopped when we saw a few boys and girls stopping in front of us. They looked at me. Just me. The boys had their arms crossed and the girls were eating gums while giving me bitchy looks.
I cleared my throat and looked down then up at them again crossing my arms.
When will this day freaking end?!

"Is there's something you want?" Ryder asked and came beside me. "Oh nothing we just came to give miss queen a warning." A girl said and walked towards me.
"There will be a party on Saturday. Seeing you there will be great." A guy said and winked at me. I rolled my eyes at the two of them. "Honey don't dare and talk to Marco. He's my man. I'm warning you." The same girl said. "Ummm.....yeah and please don't think you rule this school okay?" Another girl said with an irritating voice. I laughed.

"We're not joking." A guy said. I laughed even more and clapped my hands. "Oh hell yeah you are not. Hahahahahaha people! You can't invite me to a party and warn me at the same time. I mean that's rude. You either invite me in a respectful way or don't talk to me at all." I said and they were looking at me normally but changed when I said the last sentence angrily. "And you! You don't get to fucking warn me from what? Yourself!? If he's your man then you need to know how to control him not me bitch! You get warned to stay away from ME!!" I said completely angry at that girl. They all looked at the floor and backed away slowly. I gave them one last look and walked from beside them angrily.

They think I'm easy. I don't get threatened! I swear if something like this happens again I'll get them suspended! Who the hell are they to talk to me like this?!! Not me nor anyone should be treated like that. People like them should have their own private school or the society will be screwed.

I got in Ryder's car and closed the door behind me, slamming it hard. They were still there. I opened the window and looked at them in the mirror. Ryder was talking to the guy who invited me to the party and he was furious. The guy just looked nervous. I rested my head back on the chair closing the window. "Hey" someone's voice startled me. I removed my finger from the closing button then opened looking out and saw Marco. "Oh it's you." I said rolling my eyes and closing the window back again. Before I could he put his arms inside and removed my hand. "Hey!" I shouted and looked at him. "Don't close it. I want to talk to you." He said and crossed his arms on the fully opened window. "I don't have time." I said and looked behind me. I sighed when I saw them still talking. "Just a few minutes." He said and I turned to him. He gave me a nice smile. I crossed my arms and looked forward. "K, what do you want?"
"My friend is hosting a party in a week. Will you come?" He asked. I looked at him. I opened the door and he moved away. I got out and closed it behind me then leaned my back to the car. "That friend?" I asked pointing at where Ryder and the others are. He looked at him and nodded no. "No that's his brother. Why?" He said. "Nothing. Your girlfriend tried to threaten me and I don't like it, Marco. So don't be an asshole to her and leave me alone." I said and opened the door, he stopped me. "Woah what was that?" he said holding the door. I looked at him. "What do you mean by what was that?" I asked in a fast way realizing I was getting mad. "Huh...I mean I don't have a girlfriend so I could be an asshole and calmati." He said. I looked at him with disbelief and an eyebrow up. "Oh really?"
"Yeah.."
I sighed and opened the door getting in the car. He leaned down before I could close the window.
"Am I supposed to ignore the fact that you called me an asshole for a misunderstanding?"
He said in low voice. I took out my phone and opened it for the first time today. I ignored his question and checked my messages. I sent a text to Ryder to come and save me. Plus I was so tired and really needed a break. "Fireball?" I heard Marco say. I groaned. "Uuugh what?" I shouted tired of him. He starred at me for a second. I felt my heart beat so fast from that look in his eyes. I gulped thinking I made a mistake groaning like that and shouting at him. I felt my chest got hit by a truck and I wasn't able to breathe. I looked down exhaling. Then I opened the door and got out. "Look..." I said trying to apologize. Tired or not, I shouldn't have shouted like that. It's not right to be rude towards people because something happens to you and it's not their fault. Especially when they're just trying to be nice.
