Chapter 3 Boromir vs. Willow

Boromir, I do not wish to hurt you..." Willow said looking out into the distance.

"Boromir! Put your weapon down!" Aragorn yelled to him. He ignored Aragorn's comment and slowly circled Willow.

"For I don't think you could hurt me, even if you tried." Boromir snickered. Willow had enough of him and looked at him directly in the eye.

"Is that a challenge?" She asked. Boromir had no idea what he had just walked himself into.

"Actually yes. Meet me in the training grounds in the evening time, then we will duel." Willow nodded, expression still as solid as stone while Aragorn and Legolas glanced at each other.

"Mr. Frodo isn't going anywhere without me!" A voice from behind the bushes rang. Another hobbit, with dusky blonde hair, named Sam. Lord Elrond shook his head laughing too himself quietly and then speaks making Sam blush. Two more hobbits come out. Willow was only focusing on the fight with Boromir.

"So, where are we going?" One of the hobbits named Pippin asks.

Soon the meeting ended and Willow was off to collect her weapons. Willow met Boromir in the training grounds, showing no emotion. Boromir wanted this and he was going to get it.

"Are you ready? Or are you having second thoughts?" Boromir mocked. Surprisingly, both Legolas and Aragorn attended the fight. Pippin looked at Merry with excitement in his eyes. Frodo just bit is lip nervously. Never before had a women challenged a man to a duel.

"Whenever you are ready prin-" Boromir was cut off by Willow, who used her legs to set him of balance making Boromir fall to the ground, gritting his teeth.

"Do you believe women are week now?" She asked. It was just the beginning of a new rivalry.

Legolas Pov

I watched as Willow blocked Boromir's attacks. She truly was amazing. I could tell she has been through a lot and how deeply scaring it was for her.

"Pin him down!" The hobbits shouted. But Willow kept her eyes on Boromir and did not dare say another word. Willow was clearly trained and pinned the son of the steward of Gondor down. Then pointed the tip of the sword at Boromir's throat. Fear filled his eyes.

"Is that enough to show you how women could be as strong as men?" Willow said. Boromir growled loudly. Willow got up with the hobbits cheering which she took little noticed to.

3 person pov

Willow walked pass Aragorn and then it happened. Legolas and Willow's eyes met and it was like everything became in slow motion. Then, first time in a long time, Willow showed her eyes. Legolas could see pain and grief in her grey cloudy eyes. It pained him to see her like this. In those eyes he saw a beautiful goddess with a flower crown in her dirty blonde hair. Animals surround the women and her eyes were not grey, but purple. Willow looked powerful and smart. A person everyone would love...

Willow covered her eyes with her miss green hood, turning her head. But that night, Legolas couldn't keep his mind off the beautiful women. He decided that over the journey he would help Willow come out of her shell and become the real person under her stone looking face.

Legolas smiled to himself and went to sleep. It was just the beginning....
