Dusk had fallen over the once busy streets of Rohan, as the villagers prepared themselves for a long nights slumber. This time Willow was allowed her own chamber, separate from the men. The Maia slouched under a large comforter, flipping through the papers of an old worn book. The bed was not the most comfortable but at least it had a blanket to keep warm. Unlike the men, who had to sleep on the floor. Willow's lips curled into a slight smile at the thought, turning a page. The old book described a lonesome couple who banded their souls together in order to stay together forever. Even though she would never admit it, Willow was quiet frond of romantic tales. She found interest in love itself. How could you give up so much for just one person? Why would one make such sacrifices?

The warrior maiden turned her head towards her small window. "Nightfall already? I must be enjoying this too much." she murmured, placing the book back onto a nearby shelf. Placing her hood over her head, Willow walked out of the stone room, heading outside. A soft breeze tickled up her spine and into her hood, placing it gently on her back. Elliastral sighed, tasting he fresh air. As she walked up to the balcony, another hooded figure- an elf caught her attention.

Legolas.

"Hello. What are you doing out here so late." she asked. Legolas, smiled when he saw the warrior next to him.

"Hello, Elliastral. I was going to ask you the same question. " he replied.

"Funny."

Legolas placed himself next to the maia, "I came here to think."

"I guess I should leave you be then-"

"Nonsense!" Legolas said, grabbing her hand. "Come, what is on your mind?"

Willow sighed, again, "I guess all of this! Eomer, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf," she answered, as Legolas straightened his posture, "And well...you." finished Willow, biting her lip.

"Me?" Legolas questioned raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, you. Look at me making a fool of myself." muttered Willow. "Your my best friend Legolas. You helped me find who I am and I am grateful for that. I have been still trying to figure out my feelings and I realized I have been putting this off a long time. You have helped me so much and I think..." Willow gulped, too scared to hear Legolas's reply. "I think I might-"

"Lady Elliastral and Lord Legolas." A guard interrupted. "Lord Aragorn wants to speak with you."

Willow clicked her tongue answering with a bitter tone, "Thank you for letting us know."

Aragorn came around the corner as the guard left. "I am sorry about that. That guard as been following me everywhere!"

"It's fine." groaned Willow. "I guess, I should get some shut eye." with that Willow turned around and hurried away."
