Willow walked into the forest, her dress dragging on the ground. Willow always loved nature, and animals loved her. A fox jumped on her shoulders.
"Um...go on now. Shoo." She tried waving him away but he just looked at her confused.
"Alright then. You can stay." Willow scratched his chin.
"Huh, you have a white splotch on your head. It looks like a star," the fox moved his tail on the right side of her neck.
"Daystar, that is what I will call you." For the first time in a while, Willow smiled. Soon more animals started coming out of the shadows, joining the wonderful goddess. She turned her head, a piano sitting in the forest. Willow started walking towards it, her feet making small sounds. Her hand touched the smooth keys.
"Oh my....I haven't seen one since...Sauron took over." Willow's smile faded. Daystar touched her cheek with his paw.
"Willow?" a small voice rang, Willow turned her head, the animals scurrying away.
"Pippin, what are you doing here?" Willow asked, no tone in her voice. Pippin blushed.
"Well, the fellowship was wondering where you were a-and I offered to look for you." He said. Willow nodded at the small hobbit. "I see."
"Were you going to play the piano?" he asked. Willow took her hand away from the white keys and closed the lid.
"No." Pippin frowned. "Oh that's a shame. I would've loved to hear you play." Willow gave Pippin a small smile.
"I supposed I could play for you." She said clearing her throat. Pippin smiled, as she sat on the piano bench. Then, she played the most beautiful song Pippin had ever heard. Many other people heard it too. Several elven children came and sat on the grass listening while some played with Daystar. After Willow finished the lovely song, a little elven girl tugged on her dress.
"That was beautiful lady! Could you tell us a story?" the little girl asked. Willow was shocked. Tell a story? None of the ones she knew were appropriate for their young ears.
"My mother told me a story of a sailor, when I was young." She said, taking her hands down from the piano keys.
"Can you tell us?" the little elf-ling asked. Willow sighed and gracefully sat on the grass. She then started telling them the story of the love for a sailor of Middle Earth.
With the Fellowship:
"Strider, Pippin has not come back yet," Sam said looking around the forest. "Neither has Willow." Frodo told them.
"Come, we must find them." Aragorn said. The fellowship made their way through the trees. A few elf-lings ran out of the corner shouting for each other.
"Come on! Lady Willow is telling a story," one said. "I'm coming, I'm coming." Aragorn and Legolas glanced at each other and followed the children.
"Can you sing for us Lady Willow?" as child asked. Aragorn and Legolas came up to where Willow and Pippin sat. Aragorn leaned on a tree, Legolas standing next to him.
"I..."
"Please?" the little girl said. Was Willow ready for this? Did she want to sing?
"Alright then. Do you have a song in mind?" Willow said. Aragorn smiled, seeing his friend opening up.
"Do one your mommy sang," One of the children said. "I will sing the one of the Sailor..."
