Chapter 26 Battle For Helms Deep

Willow POV:

It was time. It came too fast, way to fast. I was close to the bottom of Helms Deep. Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn and the archers were all on the top. I saw Legolas looking down at me. I removed my hood to show him my very awkward crooked smile. He then smiled back. I put my hood back up onto my head, preparing for battle.

"What's happening out there?" I heard Gimli say.

"Shall I described it to you? Or will you like me to find you a box?"

I chuckled at Legolas's comment, blushing a little.

It was hard to believe how much he had shaped me over the months.

The orcs down below started slamming their torches on the ground, shaking the earth.

"Hold your fire!" Aragorn yelled just as one arrow slipped away from a Rohan guard's hand. It stuck in the middle of an orc.

I mean, I will give you points for hitting an orc in the heart but, wrong time buddy.

I waited to kill until Aragorn gave the command.

Then the battle broke out...

Legolas POV:

I slashed and shot, shouting my kill count to Gimli. Of course, I had killed more than him.

Suddenly, I remember: Willow.

I stopped killing, though I could hear Gimli shouting his numbers behind me. I darted past the orca looking for Willow.

"Oi! Where ya going?" Gimli shouted, though I was too far to hear him.

"Elliastral!" I tried shouting, the noises blocking my voice. "Ellie!"

I saw Aragorn turn to me, becoming me up to the top.

"Legolas!"

Oh Eru, please tell me he found Willow.

I sprinted up the stone stairs, shooting my arrows. I finally got to Aragorn, his face pale.

"Look!" He pointed.

An orc with a fire like material was thundering past the other orcs.

"Legolas!" Aragorn yelled.

I stuck the orc with an arrow. He kept running. Again, I stuck him with another arrow. Still running. I shot one last arrow but the orc jumped into where the beasts were making a pit like thing.

Then, I saw Willow, near the orcs.

Everything blew up, knocking Aragorn and Willow down.

"No!!!"
