Chapter 32 Daystar

Willow had slipped into the white dress Eowyn had gave her. It fit nicely and was fairly comfortable. Elliastral decided to headed down to the garden. The one on the far, far side of Rohan. She did not want to interact with anyone. Willow opened her door, creeping out of her room. She needed some fresh air to clear her mind. The woman thought of bringing her stringed instrument but decided not to. She didn't want to draw attention with the noise.

"Much better." Willow said, as soon as she got to the garden. The maia sat down on the fountain in the middle of the garden. Willow looked into the water, noticing her reflection. In the water she saw a girl - a maia. Besides her, she saw a fox. He had a crown on his head and was next to Elliastral. Daystar.

Elliastral gasped, whipping her head around only to find nothing besides her. Then, he appeared again, standing right in front of Elliastral. Daystar was a spirit. A spirit of the Valar. He bounced up and down at the sight of Elliastral. Willow gave the little fox a loving smile as he dashed into her arms.

"Daystar...your here." said the maia.

The fox started circling Elliastral, the wind following him. Willow stood still, still shocked that Daystar was alive. The fox then leaped up, drowning into the ground. He vanished into the ground. Willow felt a wave of darkness swoop over her. Crying out, Elliastral could feel herself getting weaker and weaker.

Then, her eyes flickered open. It had just been a dream, though she wished it was real. Willow was still in the dress Eowyn had given her and was lying on her soft bed. Elliastral stood back up, hobbling over to her desk, grabbing a hair brush. "Eh, I don't really feel like brushing my hair today." she said, grabbing a leather ribbon. Quickly, she tied her hair into a messy ponytail, before heading out.

But even as she walked to the gardens, she could see a little orange fox, darting into bushes and behind trees, following the maia.
