Love Will Always Find a Way (A Legolas Love Story)

Chapter 23 Goodbye Daystar...

After singing Willow looked at the little fox in her arms, half way dead. It put his paw on her cheek. An emotion crossed into Elliastral's body that she had never felt before. Sadness.

"Daystar, no, please!" she whispered. Daystar purred, telling her it was time.

"I can't image a world without you in it." Daystar purred again. Knowing Daystar will be gone soon, Willow kissed his head then put it against hers until he died. First she lost Gandalf (before), then Boromir and Aragorn, now Daystar? Then, Daystar took no more breathes ever again. He was dead. He died in her arms, just like Boromir.

"Daystar! No! Please, no!" and for the first time in a long time, Willow started to cry. Willow never cried. But here she is. It was her breaking point. She did not feel like a warrior, she did not feel happy. Legolas came over and sat by the crying maia. He had never seen her like this way. The only thing he thought of doing was wrapping one arm around her. Immediately, Willow wrapped her arms around Legolas, hugging him and crying. Shocked, Legolas hugged her back.

Later:

Elliastral buried Daystar in a forest that was near by. Soon, they made it too Helms Deep. Everyone was gloomy, even Zara. Again, Willow showed no emotion. They arrived at Helms Deep when a ruckus broke out. Aragorn was back. When he saw Willow he knew something was wrong. Gimli told him that Daystar was dead and now at peace.

If only I could be that way. Willow thought to herself.The was all she ever wished. Well, that and one other thing. She wished to be with Daystar, again...
