The fellowship gathered at the front of Rivendale as they said their goodbyes. Aragorn was talking to Arwen while the hobbits chatted among themselves. Legolas, Boromir, and Gandalf were in a conversation and Willow...well, Willow was just sharpening her knives, avoiding her fellow companions. Saying their last goodbyes, the fellowship set out on their quest. Aragorn came last, walking next to Willow, who kept her head down, making sure her eyes were covered by her hood.

"Is Mordor left or right?" Frodo whispered to Gandalf. "Left."

It was soon night fall and the fellowship set up camp. Boromir was collecting wood for the fire while Sam cooked rabbit stew.

"I have a question for Willow, thank you Sam," Pippin stated as Sam served a bowl of stew to him. Willow turned her head away from him. "Here Lady Willow, sorry if it is a little bland." Sam said blushing. Willow took the blow in her hands and put the spoon to her lips and tasted the wonderful warmness.

"This is delicious Sam." she said with no emotion in her voice. Sam smiled warmly, still blushing.

"Why do you keep your hood on? I mean we would all like to see your face. Merry and I have been wondering for a while now." Pippin said blankly. Merry elbowed him in the stomach.

"Ow! What? I was wondering." Willow sighed and set her bowl down at the ground, pulling her hood farther down her head.

"That is none of your concern." Willow said getting up. The company could not tell if Willow was upset or just not wanting to worry anyone. "I am going to keep watch. Yell if you need anything." Then Willow left the group and went on the cliff side, hugging her arms.

"Pippin, I told you not to ask that question!" Merry snapped. The two started to bicker once more. Boromir squinted his eyes at the hooded maiden.

"I still don't trust her...she is hiding something." he said looking at Aragorn. Legolas shook his head.

"There is pain and grief in her movements." Legolas said. Aragorn gave Legolas a soft smile.

"Your right Legolas. She has seen her love ones die. Willow has been betrayed multiple times, it is impossible to gain her trust." he said. This lost Legolas in thoughts.

"Then how come she trusts you so much?" Frodo asked, who had been listening on the conversation.

"That I can not say because I do not know. Willow is a very mysterious girl..." All the of the fellowship turned their eyes to Willow, still standing on the ledge. She looked like a queen, so powerful and yet impossible so see through. Willow closed her eyes under her hood. She heard the conversation and was mumbling under her breath, and of course - not changing her expression. The night lasted long, and Willow kept feeling eyes on her. Truth was- all of the fellowship, was interested in Willow and not in a romantic way - though who can say for Legolas. Sam watched her eat, Frodo watched her sharpen her sword, Merry and Pippin kept their eyes on her face (hoping to see her eyes), and Boromir watched Willow suspiciously.

"Now if you excuse me, I am going to bathe - and please, I don't need an audience." She said aloud making the men turn red. Gandalf just chuckled. Willow went on the other side of the forest. She took her clothes off and stepped into the warm river. Her body had so many scars on them from the past. A few of them she had done to herself - trying to rid herself from the world. Willow got out of the lake and put her clothes on. When she came back all the fellowship saw was pink lips, a pale face, a damp moss green hood, and wet dirty blonde hair (which looks brown now since it was wet). For some reason, she looked different.

"Lassie! Your back." Expressed Gimli. Willow just nodded and bit down on her lip. The fellowship glanced at each other.

"Willow, are you alright?" Legolas asked. Willow looked up at Legolas questionly.

"Why do you care?" she asked. That took that Legolas back. Aragorn raised his eyebrows.

"Of course I care." Legolas said. Willow hugged herself and looked to the side.

"I...am fine." she said and rested her chin on a tree trunk.

Gandalf was right, Willow was a very mysterious girl. But that was soon gonna change.
