Willow POV:

I have been healing greatly, thanks to Eowyn. She had been a great help lately and a great friend.

I walk down to the court yard, looking at the beautiful view. I was wearing a dress, that I despise, but could not put my normal tunic on without the help of Eowyn, who was busy.

Soon, it became dark and I started heading back to my chamber. Of course, I ran into someone on the way there. Eomer.

Ever since I met him, he has been giving very, very weird feelings. Not in a good way though. Some may think it is love, or happiness, but nay. Whenever I am around him I feel the urge to run. Run far away.

"M'lady," he said, bowing. "Tis, a honor to be in your presence." Eomer continued, making me roll my eyes.

"No need to bow, for I am not royalty. It is getting late, I must get going." I answered, as he kissed my hand.

"Of course. Shall I escort you there?" He asked, as I swiped my hand away from his lips.

"Nay, I can get back myself." I said, for I was getting annoyed with his neediness.

"But, please. Stay a moment." Eomer offered.

"Alright then." I sighed, knowing not to be rude. "But I really must get back. Eowyn is waiting for me."

"Eowyn can wait. My sister is probably not in a hurry anyway." he said, waving the comment off like it was a fly.

"Aye, well-Legolas." I stuttered like a fool. Of all the excuses I could have made up, it had to be about Legolas. Maybe I need to stop letting my mind think of him.

"What about Legolas?" Eomer's face fell at me mentioning the name.

Yes, I was aware of the feeling he had towards me. I am clueless. But, I needed to get out of the situation with out hurting Eomer's feeling. I have done that too many times with others.

"I was supposed to meet him and Aragorn to talk about-"

"Talk about what?" The knight raised an eyebrow.

"The fellowship! Yes. We need to talk about Frodo and Sam." I fibbed. No, I was not going to see Legolas or Aragorn this night but it slipped out and was a handy excuse.

"Aye! Well, then I shall escort you there."

"No! Er-you must be tired. You should rest. I can handle myself." I answered quickly.

"Alright. But stay here a moment, please." he said, taking my hands in his. How badly I wanted to pull away, I could not do such a rude gesture towards a kind man.

But then, out of no where, I felt his lips connect with mine.
