Scene opens up with Naruto who was wearing his casual clothes and walking to Megumi's room in the healing ward to see if he was okay after his fight with Hanami. he then notices something before he stops to look at his reflection in one of the windows, but it was Sukuna instead of himself. Naruto simply sighed in annoyance before he crossed his arms.

Naruto: Alright. What do you want?

Sukuna: Oh, can't I take the time to talk to my favorite brat? 

Naruto: Drop it. you can't fool me with this nice act, you're pure evil. so what is it? 

Sukuna: Tsk! Fine, Brat. I simply came here to tell you that you'll find another one of fingers eventually. But also to let you know, soon those blue eyes of yours will take everything from you one day! And I for one, can't wait to watch you lose it all. So enjoy the time you have left with your friends, Brat.

Naruto's eyes widened slightly from hearing that before he blinked and noticed his reflection was normal again, shocking him slightly. But he couldn't help but wonder if what Sukuna said may have been true or was it just something to tear him down. Naruto simply sighed before he continued walking to Megumi's room with that thought still on his mind.

Eventually, He walked into Megumi's room and saw Nobara and Megumi chatting and eating pizza which made him smile and forget about the warning he got from Sukuna. Naruto then walked towards them before pulling up a chair and sitting by Megumi's bedside. They talked for a bit before Nobara asked about Naruto's whole bromance situation with Todo.

Nobara: So, when did you start getting along with that gorilla?

Naruto: Huh? Well, we just fought and bonded a bit over it, but I can't exactly remember what happened. I was a totally different person back then....

Nobara: What, were you drunk or something? 

Naruto's face drops to an Offended look after hearing that she would assume that of him.

Naruto: I'm 16 and I can't drink alcohol! I can't believe you would assume that of me! God you short girls are always a pain.

Nobara blushes slightly from being called short before she snaps out in anger at him with a slight pout on her face.

Nobara: Hey! I'm not short, you're just tall!

Naruto: Uh-huh, sure, but I'm glad you both are okay especially you, Fushiguro. You should be able to eat Pizza too, right? 

Naruto takes a bite out of the slice of pizza he was holding with a smile on his face.

Megumi: Come on, you could've at least brought me something easier to digest. 

Nobara: No complaining. 

Megumi: Apparently, I got off easier because my cursed energy was all dried up. Ieiri-san was able to fix me up as soon as the roots were removed. 

Naruto: Hmm? So that's a thing that can happen? 

Nobara: Didn't you fight against them, too?

Megumi stayed quiet for a second, pondering something in his mind before he decided to say something after noticing the gloomy expression Naruto had when he entered the room.

Megumi: Naruto.

Naruto stopped half way from taking another bite of his pizza and looked at Megumi from the corner of his eye.

Megumi: You've grown stronger. Back then, we both said our convictions were proper ones. I still think that's true. Or, to put another way, we're both wrong.
