The scene opens up with Megumi, Toge and Noritoshi running away from Hanami who was chasing them through another building.
Megumi: Are you all right, Inumaki?
Toge: Salmon.
Noritoshi: here it comes!
Hanami then forms three wooden balls that project spears, one for each student. But thankfully Toge gave the command to...
Toge: Stop.
The attack stops mid-air before Noritoshi puts his hands together and converges Blood between his Palms.
Noritoshi: Piercing blood!
The Blood attack goes towards the Cursed spirit, but This time. Noritoshi's blood bullet manages to slightly injure Hanami's face, shocking Megumi that he managed to injure it.
Megumi: [ He wounded it? So he wasn't serious at all when he fought me, then? Tsk!]
Noritoshi: *runs up the stairs* Hurry! He's just gonna heal right away!
The trio runs up the stairs to escape from Hanami. Toge coughs slightly from overusing cursed speech before he takes some cough medicine to heal his throat a little.
Noritoshi: [ Inumaki will stop it, we'll attack, and then we'll get away from it. Then we repeat that as we try to get outside of this veil and rejoin the principal and the others. But there's no telling when the current balance will fall apart. His cursed speech isn't affecting it much anyway, and we're not getting a chance to contact the teachers. If it figures out how to deal with his cursed speech, we're finished.]
They run up the stairs to try and reach the roof of the building, avoiding the roots and Hanami as much as they can.
Noritoshi: [ We don't know what the cursed spirit's after. There's a chance the principal and other sorcerers stationed at Jujutsu High haven't taken action. I'd like to quickly rejoin Todo, or at least, Miwa, but...]
They run outside on the roof of the lower levels of the building as Nue circles around to meet them. Nue lands behind Megumi.
Megumi: Inumaki will stop. Don't worry! just go!
The Shikigami rushes forward towards Hanami to stop him as Toge was about to give the command to...
Toge: St-
However, Hanami simply pierced Nue with his bare hand, Shocking Noritoshi. Toge then falls to the ground bleeding from his mouth due to his throat giving way to the side effects of overusing cursed speech.
Noritoshi: [ He's the one hitting his limit first?!]
Noritoshi makes the mistake of looking back at Toge dropping his guard, giving Hanami the opening to smash his face into the ground with a Lethal downward right hook. The impact cracks the tiles of the roof and sends Noritoshi spinning away, immediately knocking him unconscious. Three wooden balls appear to finish Noritoshi off, but thankfully Megumi grabs him before the protruding wooden spikes stab into the roof instead
Megumi: Tsk! Are you alive, Kamo-san? [ He wasn't using Powerful words, but it still destroyed his throat. It's just that much stronger!]
Megumi was about to make the hand sign to summon another Shikigami, but Toge puts his hand on his shoulder and stops him.
Toge: Mustard leaf.
Toge walks forward towards Hanami despite his destroyed throat while Megumi watches in disbelief.
