Quick side note: Naruto is now 17 for the sake of this story and his birthday is on Oct 10, so uhm yeah also he's way stronger than he was in book 1 if I were to do comparison, he's at pre-awakened teen Gojo level at best.

It was just like any other normal day at Kawasaki City, in Japan. Three first-years, Naruto Uzumaki(MC), Megumi Fushiguro, and last but not least Nobara Kugisaki, were taking a break since there wasn't really much to do at Jujutsu High or any new missions from Gojo. They have an entire day to themselves and whatever they want to do in their free time.

Naruto then pulls out his phone and opens an app for movies I suppose, while walking alongside Megumi and Nobara.

Naruto: I think I'll go see a movie today. What about you, Kugisaki-chan?

Nobara: it's still early. I'll go shopping or something.

Megumi: you all have so much energy. I'm going home, then.

Megumi then gets Ijichi's car with Naruto waving a goodbye and to take care of himself, Nobara then walks up the stairs before Naruto looks at her and decides to ask if she would want to join him.

Naruto: so I'm going to the movies. What about you? 

Nobara then turns around to look at him with a slight smile on her face before asking.

Nobara: What are you seeing?

Naruto: Human Earthworm 4. 

Nobara: Who'd ever go see that!? I haven't even seen 1,2, or 3.

Naruto: you'd probably be fine jumping in on 4. 

Naruto then proceeds to explain every single specific detail about the movie even the graphic ones which only serve to disgust Nobara even further, but Naruto with a beaming smile on his face simply explains that theme of the movie is....

Naruto: so the theme is actually love!

Nobara: I don't want to see some wormo man, regardless of the theme.

Naruto: it's "Human Earthworm." 

Nobara: Doesn't matter. I'm going shopping, okay? Want to come with?

Naruto: No, you're just gonna make me carry the bags again and I said I'm going to the movies.

Nobara: I don't shop that much! But see you later then.

Nobara then walks upstairs, leaving Naruto by himself. Naruto then sighed and closed his eyes, slightly having some bad memories that he thought he had left behind him, caused him to hold his head in pain.

Naruto: Damn it... why now.

Naruto then walks off to the movie theater with a blank expression on his face, However unbeknownst to him, he was being watched by a face from the past, a teenage girl around his age across the street, but Naruto was completely unaware of her presence.
