Alyssa
Tara's house is bold- and there's a lot of it..
And I mean a lot of it, it's fucking huge, I heard her parents brought it for her as a graduation gift- a fucking gift!
I think I would collapse on the ground and have a seizure if I ever received this gift.
My head hurts and my stomach churns as I walk up to the gates of her house.
Caleb is on a camping trip with his basketball team, he's been planning for months so unfortunately I couldn't drag him here with me.
I don't normally enjoy going to party's- those are Tess's thing and I only go to them for her and to make her happy.
But I'm sad and feel like I could drown and die in a deep hole any moment, I need to drag myself out of those fantasy's by going to a sloppy teenage party.
I shudder at the exact thought of it.
An empty stomach and alcohol are probably the worst mix ever- shortly after drugs and alcohol of course.
My legs shake as I follow into the house, a large group of boys are before me all with their shirts hanged over their necks probably thinking they look cool.
No, they just look like sixteen year old dorks.
I practically roll my eyes at the sight of them.
"Alyssa?" Someone beside me asks- Michelle. "Is that you?"
"In the flesh," I mumble as I reach her- grinding my teeth together at the thought of talking to this human blister.
She's fake- that's her whole personality and I'm not even saying this to be a bitch- she's pure evil in disguise.
"It's been too long!" She says, twirling her hair with her finger and adjusting her already tiny top.
"Not long enough," I almost mumble before re adjusting my answer, "yeah, way too long," I agree.
She takes a sip of whatever she's drinking, "hey..." she says smirking, "have you talked to Tyler lately?"
My chest contorts at the sound of his name- Tyler- my ex. Sure I've talked about him since we broke up but I haven't spoken his name or heard anyone say it in the past year. I'd almost forgotten about him apart from that one time I told Aiden, but it didn't feel real then- Aiden didn't know him.
Michelle knew him- she was trying to get in his pants the entire time we were dating- she probably did if I'm being honest.
I clench my jaw- if she'll go low then I guess I'll just have to go lower.
"No, I haven't because if you remembered correctly you'd know that we broke up," a smile creeps up my face matching her own, "I've moved on but I guess that's hard for some people." I pout out my bottom lip, "don't think I never noticed you staring him down like a starved dog Michelle, that's okay though- I get that it's hard for some people." I pat her upper arm 'comforting' her.
Her mouth practically falls off it's hinges before she sets it back and whispers to me, "he never liked you, he never loved you." I pretend like the words aren't a punch in the guts.
"And he loved you?" I laugh incredulously, "sweetie, I was joking when I said you hadn't moved on, but your being serious?" I tut, "oh I'm so sorry."
"I know what game your playing at," she snaps at me.
"Game? What game? This is just a friendly conversation between old friends," I say still keeping my composure.
"Your so shallow," she sneers.
