Vani's pov –

"I'll wait till we land."

"Are you mad? You'll get even more sick. Eat the medicine for god's sake!" I heard Aria hissing.

I turned back and saw Leena hold a paper bag to her mouth while Talia just angrily stared at her.

"Leena, are you alright?" I asked her turning back, getting scared myself. When others puke, I feel like puking too. I hate it.

She just gave an okay sign with her hand, while Aria rolled her eyes. "She is not okay. She's been wanting to puke for a very long time. She's feeling sick."

"Um, please don't puke Leena?" I requested.

"How am I supposed to control it?" She asked, annoyed.

"I mean, you can use a medicine." I told her.

"What do you think I've been trying to tell her? I asked her where the medicines are but she's not telling me. I went through her entire bag and still couldn't find it." Aria told me. "And she wants to puke only when she gets off the plane, so take the fucking medicine, if you don't want to puke on the flight!"

"You know how much I hate medicines." Leena pouted.

"Oh really? What do you hate about medicines, my dear?" Aria asked.

Clearly, Leena couldn't catch the hint of sarcasm in Aria's question and started saying, "When I was a child, a tablet got stuck in my friend's throat. I think I have a fear since then. And about syrups, I think they – "

"Yeah, no one wants to hear your theory on syrups." I cut her off, not believing she's actually telling us a story she's told a million times. "The tablets are with Elaine." I informed them.

"Oh great, I'll go get it from her." Aria said getting up.

"While you're going, please get my kindle from her." I told her and she nodded.

A minute later the seatbelt sign turned on and Aria came back with empty hands and I raised my eyebrows at her silently asking what happened.

"The air hostess said that there's some turbulence so I need to get back to my seat. She told that when it's over, she'll go and get the medicines from Elaine herself. I told her the seat number and everything."

A few minutes later, we saw an air hostess and a panicked Elaine coming our way followed by a confused Tara, while Talia was still sleeping next to me.

"What happened? Is anyone sick? Oh, Leena, hold on." She asked but understood Leena was sick as she was still holding a paper bag to her mouth And Elaine started rummaging through her bag or a medicine.

"Here you go, take this one." She passed it to her and Leena just ignored. "Leena?"

"She's being dramatic." Aria told her, getting really tired of Leena's stubbornness.

Suddenly I got an idea.

"Tara, what were you saying about holding your puke in these days?"

"Nothing?" She said raising her eyebrows being confused.

"Remember, you had told me something your brother told you." I said with a tight-lipped smile, trying to send her signals to make up a lie. Her brother was a doctor, so whatever Tara was gonna say would be something Leena would believe.

"Oh yeah..." she said catching on to my plan trying to think of a believable lie. "He told me that if we hold our puke in for a really long time, there are chances where we can suddenly puke, like we won't even get a feeling of puking and it'll just get out of the system." She said looking at Elaine.
