Ved's pov –

"You're girlfriend?" Aiden screamed.

"No, you idiot. A girl friend." I corrected. "Are you coming or not?"

"Okay fine, Nora and I will be there." He said and I hung up after.

Aiden is my childhood best friend. He's been with me from kindergarten to high school. He knows me very well. He obviously has very little idea of my trainee life but he knows of my struggles to achieve a debut. When I told him that I'm going to debut, he was extremely overwhelmed by happiness, and that showed me that there are always people who care.

I haven't met Aiden in a long time, so when he said he's in Paris with his girlfriend Nora, I knew I had to meet them. I've known Nora since middle school. Aiden and Nora used to hate each other until one day they realized how much they love each other, so they started dating in high school.

Since Pikachu wanted to go to a club and I had to meet Aiden and Nora, I figured why not get them to the same place. Plus, Pikachu would have a girl with her too and I wouldn't be too distracted by her.

When the guy asked us questions about being a couple, my heart was beating so quick and I wished how it could be true. But I realised that I've to forget it and continue being normal with her. While answering, I was surprised to see her still wear the ring.

I was terrified by the fact that the video goes up on Instagram. I had rushed to call my manager to take care of it, because after debuting, I didn't want false information going around about me and her being engaged.

I had told Aiden that Pikachu and I don't know each other's names or any major background, so he also better not ask her and make everything different.

As evening was rolling in, I started getting ready and sent the location of the club to Aiden. I wore a black shirt with blue jeans. I left to the bracelet shop to pick up my Pikachu.

I waited outside the shop and answered a few texts from my members and one from my manager informing me how the Instagram video situation was taken care of and I sighed in relief. I looked up in case Pikachu was coming and thought someone else was walking on the street, and then looked down at my phone. My head immediately shot up looking at the girl walking in front of me. I had to take a double take at her because I was mesmerised.

Oh. My. God. She looked beautiful. She wore a sleeveless black flowy dress which reached a bit above her knees and paired it with white sneakers. Her hair was open. Her legs were on full display and my eyes kept glancing down at her legs. So long. So hot. I need to stop acting like a creep.

She came in front of me and whispered a breathless hi.

"Hey," I said staring at her.

"Sorry for making you wait. I was sleeping. Thanks to my friend who woke me up, otherwise I wouldn't be able to make it. I literally ran." She said trying to catch up with her breath.

"Calm down and relax. Do you need water?" I asked and she declined.

"Come on, let's go." She said and ushered me to lead the way by pushing me from the back.

"Someone looks excited to go to the club." I teased and she started walking next to me.

"It's been so long since I've been to one. My final semester was super hectic that I couldn't go out anywhere. The last time I went to a club was during my third year at uni." She explained.

"Well, that's a long time ago." I agreed, "By the way, my friend, Aiden and his girlfriend Nora are very cool. You'll like them. Aiden is my childhood friend. He stayed in the same neighbourhood as me. The three of us were in the same school, so I've known Nora for a long time too. And I've also told them about our nameless pact, so they're not gonna interfere in that." I assured.
