Everyone gathered around me, praising me for my victory. Ash was with them too. I forcefully smiled back at them. "You're still not over this?" Ash said to me. One of her arms was wrapped in a bandage.

I sighed. "No, I'm not. You still haven't fully recovered, and I feel guilty."

"But you're not." Brooke piped up. "You weren't yourself, right?" I nodded. "Then you shouldn't beat yourself up so hard about it."

"Yeah," Aspen said, "Brooke's right." Brooke blushed slightly.

"But I still hurt you to the extent that you couldn't join the training session we had today."

Ash shrugged. "I was tired anyway."

Just then, the elemental chiefs walked in.

"We have important things to do." Andromeda said. "Report to the training grounds at once."

They then vanished. We all looked at each other and shrugged. "Race you there!" Aspen said teasingly. He turned into a tiger and bounded off swiftly.

"Hey!" Brooke said. She turned into a sea serpent and slithered after him. One by one, we all turned into our beast forms and took off.

We then met up at a line at the training grounds, in our human forms.

"Now that we finished the tournament, we will move on to harnessing your powers." Andromeda said, "If someone with elemental power fights you, you won't be resistant to it. It will affect you like any other person. But you guys fought with emotions, which might not work all the time" she droned on. "To harness your power, you have to think about your element. But don't keep it inside. Instead, let it blossom around you. For example, my power made this dress out of pure light."

She flashed her dress bright. "Now it's your turn. Brooke, why don't you start?"

Brooke nodded. She closed her eyes. After a minute, armor made out of flowing water appeared on her. Andromeda clapped her hands. "Now, make it your own."

Brooke concentrated, and her armor melted into a blouse with a skirt attached. The bottom flowed endlessly, like a waterfall. But it just ended in midair. Aspen whooped. "I knew you could do it."

He looked at her with newfound awe. Brooke smiled. Then Onyx did it. Instead, it melted into a jacket. One by one, everyone did it. Ash had a tunic. Marigold had a long sleeved shirt with frilled sleeves. Aspen had a parka made of leaves. Then it was my turn. Everyone turned to look at me. I closed my eyes, forgetting that I was under pressure. I thought about an erupting volcano, fires spewing out and scorching the earth. Suddenly, gasps sounded all around me. I opened my eyes, and a flaming robe took the place of my cotton fur one. "Wow, it didn't take the armor form first. It just went straight to your needs." Andromeda said. "It happened to Ash too. You and Ash have a truly remarkable bond."

Ash and I beamed. "You can also make a companion that is made of your element." Andromeda said. Magical animals appeared at everyone's side. "But I see you have already done that. Unfortunately, they will only be big enough to hold or perch on your shoulder." A golden bird appeared beside her. "I recommend you name your beast so you can summon it back to you in case it gets lost." She gestured to the bird. "This is my companion Mitzi. I hid her from you because some of you are a little too ambitious."

"I'll name mine Hydra, I guess." Brooke scratched her serpent's chin.

"Oh! What about Nora for you?" Marigold let Nora the light dragon perch on her shoulder. Nora happily obliged.

"Claw. Your name is Claw." Onyx said fiercely to his raven. Claw cawed at him and sat on Onyx's head.

I thought about what I would name my phoenix. A name then popped into my head.

"How about I name you Blaze?" Blaze hooted and sat on my shoulder, wrapping his long tail feathers around my neck. I smiled.

"Hmm. I don't really know." Aspen said. "Maybe... Aaron?" Aaron the tiger rubbed himself against Aspen's leg affectionately.

"Everett, I don't know what I should name her." Ash told me. "I was thinking Icicle, but it is way too literal." After about thirty seconds, I thought of a name.

"What about Crystal?" I told her.

"That's the perfect name! Thanks Everett!" Crystal fell asleep in her arms..

"Now that you have named them, try to summon them back to you." Andromeda instructed us.

Everyone's beast disappeared simultaneously.

Andromeda clapped her hands together. "Now, summon them back."

Everyone's companion then reappeared. "Okay then. We are done here. You will now spar with each other, but you have to do it in sync with your companion. You will be sparring, not dueling. I do not want anyone to get hurt." Andromeda turned to Ash. "Will you be able to join today's training session?

Ash shrugged her shoulders. "I mean, sure. Why not?"

Andromeda and Mitzi nodded.

Just then, the rest of the elemental chiefs teleported in front of us.

"There is a raid in the village of fire and ice." Winter said.

"Which clan?" Andromeda asked.

Winter sighed. "Dragonyx clan. They came in full force."

The rest of the Element chiefs seemed to have not known this and Marina looked as if she was about to be sick.

I learned about the Dragonyx clan sometime before I came here. The Dragonyx clan is the most powerful of all the clans of the raiders. They can turn into dragons and most of them even have elemental powers.

Winter turned to us. "You guys will have to come with us. But be careful. You're not battling amongst yourselves; You are combating ruthless raiders."

We nodded in understanding, All of us were hyped, excited for the chance to use our powers for the greater good.

Little did we know, a figure lurked in the forest, watching us with keen eyes. She had a plan, and it was working spectacularly.
