23. Misinterpreted

Espers' Training Gym.

Jin and Jimin rushed inside and found numerous Espers just standing from the sidelines, trembling in fear as they stared at what was transpiring at the middle of the wide gym.

"What the hell are you all doing just watching?!!!" Jimin yelled.

"W-we don't want to die yet, G-guide Jimin." One Esper answered in fear.

"What- what is Esper Jeon doing?!" Jin's eyes were wide as he asked this. He has never seen a bloody fight like this between humans, so it was making him feel all the shivers.

"Tchh! Did anyone call for help?!!" Jimin asked, then suddenly, Hoseok already appeared a few steps away from Jungkook. "Oh, thank God," he said with a sigh then shouted as he ran beside his friend, "Hoseok!! You should stop your brother before he kills that Esper!"

Hoseok was shocked as everybody else, "W-what is going on.." It took a moment for him to realize that Esper Jinwoo's hand was missing and this was the cause of the blood bath in front of Jungkook, who was just standing there and looking at Jinwoo's levitating body up in the air. "What-- J-jungkook!! What the hell are you doing?!!! Stop that!!!"

He tried to run to his brother, but he was just blown away by the latter's strong wind. "Aghhh! Shit- Jungkookie, why the fuck are you doing this?!!!"

"Are you sure you know nothing about this, hyung?!" Jungkook muttered in his nonchalant expression, but his voice was clearly heard by everyone.

"W-what?!" Hoseok asked, confused as to what his brother meant. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Get dad here. Now."

Hoseok looked at Jimin, unsure of what to do, then to Jin who was already in tears but still unable to move due to the shock.

After inhaling deeply, Hoseok suddenly disappeared as he teleported away.

So Jimin thought of buying Hoseok some time to get Jungkook's request. He asked in his trembling voice, "J-jungkook, w-why are you doing this? This is nothing like y-you, I mean how could you--"

"SILENCE!!!!"

Everyone almost jumped at the echoing shout from the S-Class Esper - some already scrambled to get out of the gym while the others kept their grounds as instructed by the senior Esper trainers.

Jimin just then bit his bottom lip, unsure of how else he could get Jungkook to listen to them. Then he saw Jin suddenly stepped forward with clenched fists.

"G-guide Seokjin, don't--"

"It's okay. Esper Jeon won't hurt me." Jin whispered.

He then took a deep breath and said in his loud voice, "E-esper Jeon, can you calm down, please? Esper Jinwoo needs a serious treatment right now. How about you talk to me instead?!"

Jungkook did not even move a muscle. He only stared on the ground, as if thinking of what to say.

When Jungkook did not speak, Jin continued, "Esper Jeon, please? I'm sorry if I haven't talked to you the past couple of days. But it doesn't mean that--"

"Did they force you into doing it?" Jungkook finally spoke, cutting Jin's words. "Is that the reason why you didn't answer any of my messages or calls? Because you're keeping it from me?!"

"I-- I'm sorry.."

"Is that all you can say?!!" Jungkook suddenly asked in a loud voice. He then raised his head and glared at Jinwoo, still whimpering in pain as he was hung up in the air. "This Esper-- did he touch you against your will, Guide Seokjin?!!"
